MONIN Premium Chocolate Syrup 700ml for Coffee and Cocktails. Vegan-Friendly, Allergen-Free, 100% Natural Flavours and Colourings

This is a very rich, premium chocolate syrup. I originally bought this to make milkshakes with, but found that Hershey's chocolate syrup is much better for this job. I now use this syrup for making hot chocolates (A great recipe is on the Monin website) And for putting in tea/coffee. I would not recommend trying this product on it's own, or using it as a topper for anything. (Due to it being very rich)

Rich, deep chocolate syrup from Monin. Not a thick syrup, more of a liquid. Perfect for a wealth of drinks and desserts. Makes a tasty Mocha, coupled with espresso. Well packaged and presented - arrived packaged in a clever, inflatable but sturdy, protective and reusable bottle holder.(Purchased sold and despatched by Amazon). Good price from Amazon with excellent delivery. Would recommend.

It is slightly too sweet. But it is a definite 4 star from me because the flavour does not detract from the coffee. It just adds to it. Very subtle and refined. I only use 5ml per cup and not the recommended 10ml because it is way too sweet for me (and even for my wife!). The best part of it is that it does not leave any aftertaste in your mouth. I am almost sorry to give it only 4 stars, however, I am trying to be fair and make the manufacturers take notice. I prefer a syrup that has only natural ingredients and no sweeteners like in the sugarfree version, however, I want the sugar content to be a third of this. Very mild natural sweetness with a more intense cocoa flavour would be PERFECTION.

Granted this is only my personal opinion and, having used a variety of different Monin syrups, I recognise that people's preferences for this stuff can vary wildly but this is easily my favourite flavour syrup. Admittedly, it is very sweet (as are all Monin syrups) and can be overpowering if used to excess. It's perfect though if you want to add some sweet flavouring to your food (I find it goes well in porridge) or drinks.

Great syrup. I don’t use it in coffee as I found it doesn’t add any flavour but it makes really lovely chocolate milk and as you only use a small amount (in a large glass of milk) it goes a long way. There’s also no horrible bits of unmixed powder like in some chocolate milk.

It’s tastes like it has the essence of chocolate but doesn’t really taste like chocolate? It doesn’t taste bad just not good enough to buy over other actual chocolate sauces

Tastes great, use it with my Tassimo. Use a milk pod, any decaf espresso and 15ml of this and you get a lovely chocochino. Beats the socks off of the bad mocha Tassimo sell and the even worse hotel quality powder hot chocolate that Cadbury and milka like to suggest is hot chocolate!

I use a couple of spoonfuls in coffee, delicious! It is quite sweet though, so if you use sugar/honey, you may need to use less than you normally would!
