Review: Perfect addition for any 80s style guitarist - Probably the best Talkbox on the market. Easy to set up, plays grrat out the box. Metal construction, works woth either Combo or Amp and Cab. Its a little larger than most pedals due to the speaker inside but honestly, by far the best Talkbox on the market. Honestly though, if youre going to buy this from desertcart due to it being a lot cheaper than anywhere else, be warned that it will take a lot longer than you think. Mine came almost a month after ordering. It didnt get dispatched until the day it was due to arrive.
Review: Great pedal, great service. An absolute must have! - This is an absolutely amazing pedal. I have had it about a week from writing this review and I have to say, I absolutely love it. Here are some pros and cons: Pros: It's small size and fairly light weight make it very pedal board friendly It doesn't require a separate amp to power it Long sound tube allows the pedal to be placed a reasonable distance from the mic stand It has a distinct sound, and can be very expressive if used correctly when soloing through it It has a surprisingly wide range of tones, ranging from Peter Frampton's "Show me the way" through to Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a prayer" Can be used with most electric instruments, but works best with keyboards and guitars It can be used as a practice amp if you take the tube out of it It will instantly make any riff/solo you play sound more awesome! Cons: When learning how to use it, your local shop will run out of paracetamol due to the Jaw Ache you will experience It is difficult to "Talk" with it, because some letters such as "C" cannot be made without you having to speak with it It doesn't work well with high pitched notes, so it has little effect when soloing above the 12th fret on a guitar The tone control doesn't have a lot of control over the tone, so an EQ pedal would be needed to make large changes in sound Overall this is a great sounding pedal, and can be used to make some interesting sounds and effects. I love this pedal and am giving it 5 Stars because it absolutely deserves it. Rich Tone Music (The guys I brought it from) sent it out immediately, and I have never had any grief with their customer service. It arrived exactly as they listed it and in only 2 days, when they said it could take up to 8. They deserve just as much praise as this pedal does! Here are Some tips for guitar players I have picked up from using it: It works well with thick sounding instruments, so use a humbucker equipped guitar in a drop tuning will produce the best results When soloing with it, use the lower end of the guitar. The higher notes don't work as well and are actually harder to play because you can't look down at your fretboard easily when you are using the talkbox When playing power chords, add a lower 5th where you can. It will really thicken out the sound and make it more gravelly Use a gain pedal to boost the gain in the pedal, as you may find it doesn't quite have enough for lead playing One last thing, I would use it in the effects loop if possible, again to get the thickest sound you can

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do you need an amp if you plan to use this product with a keyboard?**
A: It has a built in amp. But you’ll need to use a microphone in order to use it live or record with it. There’s YouTube videos on talk boxes you can check out btw. Good luck!

**Q: Can the signal be sent directed both to the tube and to the main guitar amp at the same time?**
A: Yes, you can.
I feed the signal to the talk box from a line output on my effects processor and don't use the talk box output. It states in the manual it is optional. I plug my guitar into my gear as usual and get sound from the talk box and my amp. The amp just doesn't get the talk box effect.

**Q: What's the size of the tube?**
A: There are 2 pieces of hose. The short piece of hose is 1/2 inch inside to inside. The long hose is 3/8 inside to inside. The long hose fits into the short piece of hose, and the short piece fits into the talkbox.Hope this helps.

**Q: Does this talk box come with the tubes?**
A: It comes with a plastic tube that you place in your mouth and a clip that will hold the tube to a mic stand.
