This shaker is excellent — and I’ll admit I was a bit sceptical about the wire mixball at first. I assumed it was a bit of a gimmick, but I was wrong. It actually works brilliantly, blending my protein shakes perfectly every time with no lumps or clumps in sight. The canister itself feels robust and well made, and the design is clearly well thought through. The spout clicks firmly shut and is completely watertight, as is the lid — no leaks, no surprises in the gym bag. My only minor gripe (and it really is minor) is remembering to keep track of the wire ball when washing up, as it has a habit of trying to escape and hide in the cutlery drawer. Other than that, it’s hard to fault. A solid 10 out of 10 from me.

9.5/10 For what you pay, the price is amazing. I haven't had many troubles with durability (it breaking). It is quite grippy so even with sweaty fingers it won't slip. I have had a couple of times where it leaked but I suppose that's user error and size wise, it's really good. One thing to note is that I have some trouble cleaning it as it seems to trap residue. I have had this shaker for a couple of months now, and for the price, i was not hoping for much - it was more of an impulse purchase. Since receiving it i was very surprised by its high quality and perfect size, as well as the shaker ball that comes with it to help mix blends. It leaks on occasion, but this is only when the lid hasn’t been screwed on tightly, i haven’t yet had a leakage as the cap fits on and won’t come off. However, something i have noticed is the slight yellowing that occurs when you add certain flavoured powders like pre workout or clear whey, it tends to stain the transparent plastic the colour of which the powder is, and this does wash off pretty well, however after a few months of use the colour is definitely noticeable. In conclusion, it’s an absolute bargain for the price, and is an essential for any new gym-goer.

This does exactly what it says it does and it doesn't have any additional bells & whistles that can break and ruin it. There are no silicone o-rings and complicated mechanisms, just a plastic lid which clicks shut with a perfect seal. It does not leak. It's very easy to clean. It holds a decent amount of liquid, and is big enough for any regular protein shake/hydration fluid dosage. I bought this for hydration fluid and use it frequently. It has never leaked on me or caused me any issues. It's simple, well designed, functions as described and holds all promises. I literally cannot fault this. And to top it off ... It's so cheap ... cheaper than all the worse ones, somehow!

I’ve been using the PhD Mixball Shaker for a while now and honestly, it does exactly what you need from a protein shaker. The mixing ball works really well... even with thicker protein powders, I’m not getting those annoying lumps anymore. Just a few shakes and it’s smooth every time. The lid is secure and doesn’t leak, which is a big plus when carrying it in a gym bag. It also feels quite sturdy for a plastic shaker, and the size (600ml) is perfect for a standard shake or even a slightly larger serving. Cleaning is easy too since there’s no complicated mesh... just rinse or throw it in the dishwasher. Only small downside is that it’s pretty basic in design, but for the price, you really can’t complain. Overall: Simple, reliable, and great value for money. Would definitely recommend for everyday gym use.

Decent price but it does tend to leak a lot more easily than any other shaker I’ve gotten in the past. You do really have to tighten it as much as you can to prevent it from happening. Good thing about it is that it is dishwasher proof so is nice and easy to clean.

Ich dachte erst: Was kann man mit einem SHAKER schon falsch machen, da wird es keine Unterschiede geben. Aber nachdem ich den Shaker ausprobiert habe, finde ich, dass er zumindest im Vergleich zu meinen anderen Shakern, sehr gut (!) ist. Ich habe mir die bekannten Stoffwechselshakes bestellt. Selbst der dort mitgelieferte Shaker überzeugt mich nicht so, wie dieser hier. 1. Der Shaker hat eine gute Größe, es passen ca. 700 ml rein 2. Es ist ein Spiralball aus Metall dabei, damit das Pulver gut aufgeschüttelt wird. 3. Der Becherboden ist innen rund, perfekt für den Shakerball UND perfekt zu reinigen, weil keine Ecken unten sind, in die man sich reinknibbeln muss um etwaige Pulverreste rauszubekommen (Ich hoffe ihr wisst was ich meine). 4. Der Becher ist dicht. 5. Die Trinköffnung ist nicht so kantig wie bei anderen Bechern, also irgendwie abgerundet und dadurch angenehm um daraus zu trinken. 6. Der Verschluss, den man zu Trinken hochklappt bleibt in seiner Position beim Trinken und ist nach innen gewölbt. Klappen die nach außen gewölbt sind haben oft etwas Flüssigkeit drin, die dann beim Trinken im Gesicht landet. 7. Der Vollständigkeit halber: Es ist ein Henkel dran, den nutze ich nicht, aber vielleicht für andere Personen ein "nice-to-have" Ich persönlich hätte ihn mir noch in anderen Farben gewünscht, ich mag den total und werde mir noch 2 kaufen und die anderen entsorgen.
