Purchased a similar one on Amazon wont pump from container up to a gas tank in a vehicle,will this pump up to that height how high?

I think it could. You are limited by the length of the tube, and I’d guess they made it that length based on the strength of the pump motor (since its height of the fluid lift that limits you)

is this able to pull water that is only 1/8" deep? what is the lowest it sucks down to?

In my experience with this pump, it will pump down to approximately 3/8” of water.

Will this work to pump out an aquarium?
