MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GT OC

Great little card. It works well in my small form factor Dell Optiplex 7010 pc and easily handles any game I can throw at it. Been enjoying GTA V on it with high settings and said good bye to my games console. It also came with a low profile bracket which is essential if you plan to install it in a smaller desktop pc. EDIT: Well I've had this card for roughly two years and had an issue with the cooling fans last week when the card was reporting extremely high temperatures. I uninstalled the card and had a look at it. It seems the fans were malfunctioning, with one turning very slowly and the other which wouldn't move whatsoever. I disassembled the fan shroud (easily done thankfully and only involves removing 4 screws on either side of the shroud and disconnecting the fan power connector) and cleaned the fans and the heatsink before applying a little lubricant to the fans. The card is reporting normal temperatures and fan speeds. Another EDIT as of 2022. One of the fans gave up the ghost completely and I had to find a replacement. I ended up doing some research and finding a complete replacement (ie fan shroud and two fans) from Aliexpress. Cost, 3 quid or so. It has been working well ever since.

This is not a very powerful card but it is very special. It requires no dedicated power connector from the PSU and uses very little power which comes directly from the motherboard. This means you can convert your any old small form factor (SFF) work PC into a gaming device. Mine came with a low profile bracket included, so it seems safe to assume that it is provided as standard, as well as a normal bracket you see on the product image. It makes no sense to use this card on a full size case, since different form factors of the same GPU appear to be available cheaper. Please also note that you do not need to couple this GPU with a very powerful CPU, since it will be the card which will be the proverbial bottle neck. There are useful videos on YouTube explaining how a powerful CPU will make little difference in terms of frames per second (FPS) you will be able to achieve with this card. I put this into a 5 years old HP Elite 8200 SFF work PC, with i5 2400 CPU and 8gb RAM. I am able to run The Witcher 3 at ultra graphics settings with acceptable FPS. I know what is acceptable is subjective. If you have space in your case, enough power on your PSU and a little more cash in the bank, go with GTX 1060 or better. If you fail in one of these 3 items, this is probably the best card you can get.

Great mid tier graphics card that was able to perform well in most games that I have played and performed better once overclocked. Has good video memory resulting in better performances as a GPU is great at repetitive tasks such as rendering textures and building 3D models. Moreover, the GPU is quite a small GPU and will most likely fit into you PC. Main gripe after a 2 months of owning the devices is that it was a little overpriced due to the graphics card inflation due to bitcoin mining. If you are looking for a bitcoin mining card, I would recommend purchasing a top tier graphics card, as mid-tier and low tier graphics cards have smaller amounts of video RAM and can't process calculations as quickly as a Titan etc.

This card is ideal for me. It does not require an additional power connection and powers fully from the PCIe slot. I use it in a media server for video transcoding where it performs brilliantly. It has one of the latest NVENC cores so quality is very good and performance it super. Greater than realtime encoding of 1080p HEVC video and 5-7x encodig of 720p HEVC using Handbrake.

Très bonne carte graphique, totalement conforme à mes attentes. Etant passé d'une GTX 650 2gb à celle-ci, inutile de dire que les performances n'ont strictement rien à voir, c'est le jour et la nuit. La carte en elle-même permet de faire tourner tous les jeux récents (chose que je ne faisais pas avant ou très difficilement) qu'ils soient gourmands ou non avec parfois la nécessité de réduire un peu les graphismes (moyen/élevé au lieu d'ultra par exemple sur les jeux très exigeants) mais c'est tout à fait normal pour ce prix là. En résumé : Les plus : + Très bon rapport qualité/prix + Très bonne régulation de la chaleur en jeu, et tout cela sans un bruit, impressionnant ! + Consommation électrique de 75W, imbattable pour ce niveau de performances. + Format de la carte graphique relativement compact et qui loge parfaitement dans une tour de taille moyenne. + L'optimisation de la carte par MSI, toujours aussi bien faite. + Écosystème Nvidia toujours aussi agréable. Les moins : - Certaines cartes graphiques de la marque concurrente (RX 460 pour ne cité qu'elle) qui peuvent être aussi performantes que la GTX 1050 avec un prix plus intéressant. Après on est sur un écosystème différent, et une consommation électrique qui n'a rien à voir par rapport à la GTX 1050, bref les goûts et les couleurs... - L'emballage inexistant de la part d'Amazon. La carte graphique est arrivée dans son emballage d'usine exactement comme sur la photo, non protégé des regards, sans scotch de sécurité ou opercule de sécurité, bref rien du tout... Heureusement, la carte, et même son carton d'origine sont arrivés en bon état, et la carte graphique fonctionne parfaitement bien. Cependant, rien que pour la sécurité du produit j'aurais vivement apprécié un carton en plus de l'emballage d'usine..... Je n'ose pas réfléchir à ce qui ce serait passer si la boîte était arrivée vide.... - Rien d'autre à signaler ! :) PS : MSI n'étant en rien responsable de mon fâcheux incident avec l'emballage, j'ai pensé qu'il était normal de ne pas baisser la note du produit qui est totalement méritée.

This is my favourite card. Buying my 2nd one. Games have been working perfectly on high and ultra. Any Pc can accommodate it without the extra power supply. This card paired with an ssd and minimum 3rd gen or 4th gen cpu can make any Pc a gaming Pc. Played Gow4, cod, arkham, tomb raider. All worked perfectly without any lag. Highly recommended gpu.

Für eine älteren HP Büro Desktop PC, der ab Werk "nur" mit ein Intel Onboard Grafik ausgestattet gewesen ist, habe ich diese Grafikkarte gekauft. Das Problem war, eine kleine Karte zu finden, da der Steckplatz hierfür bei diesen HP PC nur ganz bestimmte Karten aufnehmen kann. Dank des Internets und etwas mühsamer Recherche konnte ich dann zum Glück diese Karte finden. Die Lieferung war schnell und problemlos und die Karte war ordentlich verpackt. Der Einbau war etwas schwierig, weil dafür nur ganz wenig Platz vorhanden war, was aber am PC und nicht an der Grafikkarte gelegen hat. Beim Neustart wurde die Karte sauber erkannt und läuft seitdem problemlos. Von mir daher 5 Sterne und ein Tipp für alle, die auch noch alte Desktop PC als Zweitgerät aufrüsten wollen.

Ma config: Dell Optiplex 390 desktop, alimentation de 255 watts, processeur i32120/DD5400tours puis i52400/DD7200tours. Linux Mint Tricia 19.3 MATE Ancienne carte: Asus Gt 720 low profile passive. Je tiens à partager mon expérience car j'ai longuement hésiter à acheter cette carte, les avis étant alarmistes sur 2 sujets: l'imcompatibilité possible avec l'alimentation et/ou le processeur. J'avais bien trouvé des vidéos de geek faisant tourner une gtx1050ti avec un i32120 dans une tours desktop ... mais jusqu'à ce que ça fonctionne, on n'est jamais vraiment sûr avec du vieux matos. J'ai donc choisi la gtx1050ti, car c'est la carte la plus puissante pour cette configuration. J'avais zieuté du côté de la gtx 1650 en low profile, mais j'étais loin d'être sûr qu'elle fût compatible, trop récente. Donc je reçois ma MSI Gtx1050ti low profile 4 jours après ma commande via UPS. C'est bougrement facile à installer: 2 coups de tournevis pour changer les équerres, ça se plug dans le port PciE et hop. Reconnu immédiatement, les pilotes Nvidia de l'ancienne carte s'adaptent sans rien que je n'ai à bidouiller. J'étais assez inquiet quant à la puissance de mon alimentation 255watts. Pas mal de commentaires sur le forum Dell indiquaient que ça ne fonctionnerait pas. Pas assez de watts ... Et bien j'ai pourtant 2 DD 3,5 pouces, un DD 2,5 pouces, un Ssd et 3 disque externes connectés en usb ... et bien ... AUCUNS PROBLÈMES ! La cartes pète le feu et tout tourne sans rien à signaler. J'ai pourtant un P300 3to en interne et 10 to en externe ... avec manette et tout le toutim. A noter que la carte ne fait quasiment aucun bruit. En tout cas moins que les ventilateurs. Pour le processeurs, les commentaires avaient vu juste. Avec le i32120 ... et bien il y a parfois du "bottleneck". Le CPU est engorgé par le GPU. C'est à dire que de façon alétoile, toutes les 15-20 secondes, il y a un lag d'1/4 de secondes. Ça passe, mais c'est un peu agaçant et ça empêche de bien rentrer dans le jeu. En passant en i52400, quasimznt plus rien. Les 4 processeurs font la différence, pas de lags. Les jeunes diraient que "ça passe crème". Qui plus est j'ai globalement gagné en réactivité et ce n'est pas désagréable. Donc si vous avez au moins un i52400, faîtes vous plaisir ... Jouer en ultra 1080p, c'est vraiment classe ;-)
