The coldness eases the discomfort to an extent and the shape is handy. Would be better if they were bigger but appreciate the quality for the price. Also, there they are designed to go round the nipple but the sharpness of the plastic can be uncomfortable when breaking into your breastfeeding journey so recommend using a pad with them. I’ve still got mine in the freezer even though I am no longer breastfeeding. They are handy for when someone has a bump to act as a cold compress. And great that you don’t need to be mindful of water when behind g to defrost.
