OSRAM ULTRA LIFE H4, halogen White headlamp, 64193ULT-HCB, 12 V passenger car, duobox (2 units)

My previous bulbs lasted seven years but failed within minutes of each other. I dislike replacing bulbs as it always turns out to be more of a fiddle than it should be. This time I got both done in 45 minutes but it's a task I would like to avoid. So I did not want to buy the ultrabright type of bulb as even the manufacturers admit a limited lifespan. When these cropped up at under £5 a piece, from a reputed manufacturer I ordered them and they arrived in 3 days. They are bigger than the ones they replaced but I checked and both old and new were H4. The light is bright enough only a bit yellow. I will revisit this review if/when they fail

Love these bulbs. I drive with my lights on all the time. I was constantly changing them for this reason. I've had these for 7 months now and they are still going strong. Very happy with this purchase.

If your car has headlamps where access is difficult, then this bulb is probably the one to go for on account of its long life. Some vehicles effectively need you to take off the front bumper in order to change bulbs; not something you can readily do at the side of a road at night. If on the other hand access is straightforward, then you’re probably better off with a brighter alternative as in this regard the Ultra Life is unexceptional.

Replacement headlight bulb on 2013 Yaris. Easy to fit if you watch Youtube video. Just remember there is a clip which holds bulb in place.

Even though the light output is stated less than a standard bulb I would say these are a little brighter then what I had before. Comes with a OSRAM 3yr guarantee too

These are the best bulbs I have ever came across for long life - Fitted them to may Taxi months ago. I have used other bulbs in the past which never lasted to the amount of night work I do.

Such a change, these are fantastic, so easy to fit and great illumination at night. We will definitely buy these again. I have seen the light!

The lights cast shadows making driving distracting.

I installed these for my 2009 Santro and they are good enough compared to my old stock bulbs.

J'ai acheté un exemplaire de chaque modèle de la gamme osram H4 12V. Chaque exemplaire (7 au total) a été testé avec des appareils de test professionnels. Ici la utra life, est celle offrant la meilleure durée de vie. Sa température de couleur et sa luminosité sont proches de la original même si légèrement supérieurs. Je la recommande pour ceux cherchant simplement à changer le moins possible leurs ampoules et n'étant pas regardant en cherchant la meilleur possible.
