I was a bit dubious when ordering this product, but I knew the name so purchased it. I was not in anyway disappointed! It worked exceedingly well! The USB stick inside the hand control simply plug into your laptop and present like a professional! It even had a laser pointer! A highly recommended buy!

I've had quite a few whiteboard clickers, as a teacher. I've generally bought the cheaper ones, but you really get what you pay for - they fell apart, without fail, before too long. Some other brands also require you to install software before you can use some of the features which was incredibly annoying and simply not possible on some work-managed laptops. This has none of the issues. You plug in the USB stick and it just works. The USB stick isn't small, but it's not the end of the world as I just leave it plugged into an extension. There's easy storage of the USB stick in the device itself if you need to travel. It's soft to the touch and just feels really premium, to be honest. There's a laser (not the most powerful laser ever but it works!), a button to start the slideshow (works with PowerPoint but I can't comment on other software), a button to black out the screen (again perfect with PowerPoint and I use this LOTS in lessons to then free-write), and forward/backwards buttons (which work generically, including with Google Slides). You get what you pay for. This is worth the price.

This is the third Logitech R400 I have owned. It is a good presentation remote, that works well in almost any size of room. I like to walk around the room when delivering to large audiences and this allows freedom of movement with no concerns about losing connection. All standard features are included (such as screen black out mode) although the laser pointer is pretty redundant these days as most venues provide LCD screens (that do not work with pointers). The only gripe is that the sturdy carry case has been replaced by a rather flimsy satin-feel draw-string carry bag. Star deducted for that reason.

Everything works like a charm with this tiny tool. Silky an delicate, it offers you a great feeling and the sens of comfort. I saw a few "two stars" reviews and I would like to mention that there is no button on the back side. All the buttons are on the top. The "on - off" switch is on the left side, with no inconvenience in using. It pairs in seconds with the computer and all the commends are sent and effective with no delay. Some things to be mentioned: - there is no hyperlink control. If your presentation contain hyperlinks, then stay closer to your computer. - Using black screen is quite useful. Remember to use only the "black screen" button for switching from black to full screen. If you will use the "play" button and you will press it twice by mistake, you will be out of full screen mode, and your PP will restart from the first slide. - The LASER beam is great and useful. In my humble opinion, it could be a little bit stronger (the red point is very tiny and does not shine so well if the video projector is powerful) - The range of this device is more than enough to walk in front of your audience and to let your body speak. Overall conclusion: Logitech R400 is a great tool, extremely well built, which gives you confidence in sustaining you presentations. Knowing the minor details mentioned above, you can choose this or a more expensive model (which can have the same habit) For me this one is more than enough.

Great device. I use when teaching or presenting with a PowerPoint on my lap top. I have full classroom range of use with the device. A must have for teachers or presenters.

L'ho trovato a 26€, cioè ad un prezzo inferiore rispetto a quello di listino. Penso che questo prezzo sia adatto alla qualità che ho ricevuto: il puntatore è leggero, maneggevole e, soprattutto, ergonomico. Ho provato altri puntatori, quest'altri più simili ad una penna che non ad un telecomando, ma questo Logitech li batte tutti quanto a maneggevolezza e facilità d'uso. Possedendolo solo da poche ore, non posso esprimermi sulla sua vita utile. Se ci fossero novità, aggiornerò questa recensione. Non fa nulla di più e nulla di meno di quanto mi aspettassi: tutto sommato questo telecomando è una tastiera ad infrarossi con 4 tasti e un puntatore laser rosso. Uno di questi tasti permette di oscurare completamente lo schermo/proiettore, il che è utile per gestire l'attenzione dell'audience. La plastica esterna dà una piacevole sensazione di gomma nelle mani e impedisce che il puntatore scivoli. Detto questo, non so se il prezzo di listino (attorno ai 45-50 euro) sia giustificato: la qualità è ottima e la fattura è affidabile, ma si trovano puntatori a 15 euro che sostanzialmente fanno le stesse cose, pur presentando qualità costruttive diverse. Se lo trovate a 20 euro, acquistatelo ad occhi chiusi. Ma a prezzi maggiori, forse volete valutare altre opzioni.

Necesitaba un presentador para mi trabajo, para substituir al Logitech “Cube”. El “Cube” es más práctico que el R400: es más pequeño, no funciona con pilas sino con una batería de larga duración que se recarga por USB, y es más cómodo de manejar porque funciona como un ratón inalámbrico que alterna los botones derecho e izquierdo al rotarlo 180º; pero el “Cube” no tiene laser (lo que no es relevante para mí) y es muy fácil perder el nanoreceptor porque éste va separado de la unidad principal. Por esta última razón, y porque es un cachibache muy apetecible para manos ajenas, es por lo que me decidí a comprar el R400 de Logitech. El R400 llegó en el plazo previsto, perfectamente embalado por Amazon y con su envase original, sin abrir, sin desprecintar. El paquete contenía el presentador mencionado, una funda, dos pilas AAA ya montadas, y la guía de instalación rápida. Este presentador es de un tamaño relativamente pequeño (eso sí, no tan cómodo como el “Cube” antes mencionado) y con un acabado cómodo, atractivo y que transmite calidad. Sus funciones son básicas, suficientes para un orador que sólo precise hacer avanzar y retroceder sus diapositivas durante la exposición. Completan las funciones de este adminículo: el puntero laser (de color rojo), dos botones secundarios (uno para “pantalla negra” y otro para iniciar la presentación), un hueco en la base para guardar el nanoreceptor de unos 6 cm. escamoteable, y un botón de encendido/apagado en el lateral superior izquierdo. Su instalación es rápida, basta con conectar el nanoreceptor al PC y encender el R400 para poder empezar a trabajar con él. Con respecto al alcance de la unidad y del láser, nada puedo decir de momento pero entiendo que es más que suficiente para un aula de tamaño medio. La única pega, por poner alguna, es que la guía de instalación rápida que acompañaba este producto estaba en chino, pero esto no ha de suponer ningún problema: su manejo es intuitivo, y de existir alguna duda las instrucciones de uso se pueden descargar fácilmente en formato PDF en la página oficial de Logitech.
