Le Creuset Stoneware Canister with Wood Lid, 2.5 qt. (5.5" diameter), White

This stoneware has a beautiful soft, true-white, medium-sheen glaze. It's sturdy and a handsome addition to any kitchen counter. The wood top adds to the canister's beauty. It seals well but does not appear to be airtight. We use it as a cookie jar. Though expensive, we feel the quality matches its price.

This cylindrical storage container looks good and is a great size for storing coffee beans. Holds about a pound; you really don’t want anything much bigger or the beans will age.

I like the quality and height of this canister. The lid is not really air tight.

I love the size for flour and sugar. These canisters and heavy and the kids are wooden. I’m also have my coffee mugs.

This canister is perfect for storing coffee grounds and looks amazing in my kitchen! I put an adhesive felt bottom on it so the stone doesn't scratch my granite counter top. I highly recommendd this canister!

My wife seems to think the only brand we can buy for our kitchen is Le Creuset and unfortunately for my wallet, it’s priced about 5x higher than the exact same product without the brand name. So, I expect utter perfection. The thing that bothers me about this product is that the lid does not sit completely flush with the top of the container. You can see from my photo. Seems like a problem Le Creuset shouldn’t have. There is a rubber insert inside the lid that I believe still keeps it air tight. But for my OCD, I want the lid to lay perfect on top.

Sturdy and attractive.

This would be perfect if the lid was not warped.
