Firstly I should point out that this is duct tape rather than gaffer tape - the two are often confused with each other so if you aren't aware of the difference then the later is designed to be cleanly removed and is the stuff you'll find every musician or roadie in the country has, where as duct tape is what you' use for repairs etc. This means it will leave some glue residue when removed but you can clean it off. This roll is similar in size to a standard roll of sellotape etc, so much thinner than you'd normally get (I've shown a pound coin in my photos for comparison). This means it is great for your toolbox for jobs around the house, where you don't necessarily need it to be too wide. Gorilla tape is much better than generic duct tape you might find (they claim the adhesive layer is twice as thick as other brands) which means it does a great job of sticking to uneven surfaces, and it's weatherproof too so is fine for repairs outside the house etc. It's easily the strongest and best of it's kind that' I've used. I've used Gorilla tape for loads of jobs, including plenty were you wouldn't expect it to work. It's got me out of trouble on motorways fixing part of the trim that had rattled loose, stopped a leaking bay window roof on the outside of out house until it was properly fixed, patched up the inside of a coat for several months until I could finally get it repaired, and been used for countless other tasks around the home and our garden. A: Yes you could, not sure how permanent it would be but better that than a wet foot.

A: Hi i wouldn't risk it.to be honest its no better than normal black duck tape.cotton bunting is very light and seeing that your walls are painted why not use blu tack or non marking white tack even low tack masking tape.you didn't say if walls are outside or in.you could put drawing pins through the bunting string and mold some blu/white tack round the pin and then stick to wall.it wont go no where.as for marking your walls it depends allot on the type of paint used.vinyl gloss,vinyl matt and masonry paint are good to stick things to but normal matt emulsion allows oils and moisture to penetrate and leave marks.

**Q: Can I use this on my skin? Got a wart on my arm that hasn’t died with the normal treatment**
A: After failed attempts with over the counter wort treatments, the pharmacist recommended silver duct tape. I put fresh duct tape on my daughter’s finger twice daily for two weeks. To ensure it had been completed eradicated. It’s been two years now and it hasn’t returned. I would recommend regular duct tape rather than this tape. Best wishes
