Do I need a deglazer?** A: No you don't. I did a lot of research before buying this product and I was recommended to buy cheap, non-oily baby wipes, the supermarket's own brand is good. Thoroughly wipe the item to be dyed with these and allow to dry. When dry you can dye the item with Fiebings Leather Dye. I have also been unsuccessful with Dylon and would not purchase from them again - isn't the Internet and the sharing of information marvelous? Manufacturers of poor products or services can not hide any more. The brown shoes we dyed with Fiebings, following the above process remained black until the shoes wore out and were thrown away. If it is faux?pretend leather, then this may be possible as this is made from leather fibres and a form of plastic. Always best to test first.
