The packaging does say it is non-toxic, no grease, no wax and acid-free. They do have a website www.artcoe.co.uk which may have more information. **Q: Some people say that the graphite imprint is very faint. Is this true, or they're just not pressing hard enough?** A: There are a number of trace down colours you can use. The obvious ones are white and grey, which you match to your ground. Grey light ground, white dark ground. You do have to press firmly. I have been using it for over a year now. I think it’s brilliant. Also, I have never had any problems. It is a good product, but my only issue is that when I brushed water onto the sheet, quite a lot of the lines disappeared; washed away with laying on the water. I now know to go over the lines with a graphite pencil after my initial tracing.
