It took me hours to assemble, but the instructions were clear and I took my time to make sure everything was correct. I also built it by myself. I’ve had this for almost a month now and it feels sturdy to me. It’s not hard wood, I think it is mdf but it’s strong still and definitely worth the cost. It doesn’t tilt or move when I lean on it and the drawers are smooth opening/closing. I guess the only “complaint” I would have is that you need to cycle through the three light colors to turn the light off. But that only takes one second. The lights are very bright as well, which is good for doing makeup. Update: After almost a year of daily use, this vanity is still just as sturdy as ever!
