My machine stopped working so thought I'd try to descale it to see if that would make a difference .... and as if by magic, it now works again. It is rather expensive which is a nuisance as I'm sure it will require another descale in the not too distant future.

More expensive than buying from Nespresso but free postage so worked out a good deal. A great product and worked perfectly with my machine. A pair of sachets so have one ready for it's next descaler in 6 months.

I bought the one with two sachets as more cost effective as the product is expensive for what it is! It does not come with any instructions, you have to find your manual or look online for a video, once I did this it was easy enough to use. Did it work? I guess so! Nespresso say that you should descale at least once a year or if you can every 6 months to prolong the life of the machine, only time will tell. I suppose it is more peace of mind that the machine should be sparkly and clean on the inside for me to carry on drinking a clean cup of coffee as I can't see the limescale build up in the pipes, so the second sachet will be used in 6 months as I have it

Purchased here on Amazon as Nespresso do charge €10 for delivery on items under a certain amount, so although they sell the descaler kit cheaper it actually works out dearer in the long run if you are just buying the kit... disclaimer I used a remaining voucher of €4 so I got better value. The left over liquid can also be used in your kettle and is much more efficient than using cheap shop bought descalers for kettle/irons etc. The remain liquid from the descaling or kettle can also remove and loosen the coffee grime left on the plastic parts of the Nespresso machine if like me you're lazy enough to leave it in that state that is. Most definitely worth buying for your Nespresso machine as other solutions are not tested and they have a chance to damage or just not work as efficiently as Nespresso's recommended solution!

I live in a very hard water area and use my Latissima a lot. It takes two sachets to descale my machine every two months or so, but it does the job. Just don’t get the fluid on your skin because it really stings!!

Genuine Nespresso product, worked well in my kitchen aid machine. But the price is an outrage, for some bizarre reason more than twice the price directly from the manufacturer
