Knits tubes fast
I bought this machine just after Christmas meaning mainly to make socks on it. It came packed in a box with 2 table clamps and a little red plastic darning needle and a few spare machine needles and it's legs. There is a row counter which is digital and uses a battery. There is a plastic yarn guide to help the tension remain constant. The machine knits tubes wide enough for a mans sock ,narrow scarves, mittens etc or can knit as a flat panel . It has 22 needles. There are no needle stops with this model (the bigger model has 2) Knitting can be in the round or flat depending on which mode you choose on the selector button . Many people just leave the 'in the round' setting selected because you can then knit clockwise or anticlockwise as you decide. The machine is hand cranked. I have knitted mostly socks and mittens on my machine. The first socks I knitted were tube socks, just a long tube and then gathered at the end. They are okay for indoors but uncomfortable in shoes due to the gathering on the toes. The next time, I made socks with an afterthought heel and toe. You knit your tube ,then cut a little row and pick up and knit a heel with needles. Same with the toe except no cutting. Ribbing is possible by dropping and latching up stitches as with a basic flat bed knitting machine or cast on or off with waste yarn and use needles to make the ribbing.. I have used a youtube guide to make socks with a turned heel also. This is the quickest way to make ordinary socks but needs a learning curve. There are some very good instructions and advice on the Addi loomers and knits group on facebook and you can see my sock instructions there that were adapted from a German member of you tube who figured out how to do the short row heels on this machine . You can easily make a pair of socks or mittens in a day including the hand knitting additions. Scarves are very very quick. This machine can handle double knitting wool quite well and I often use wool doubled or even trebled to get the right thickness . The size of your finished work depends very much on wool thickness and tension.

So Easy To Use
I purchased this 22 needle Addi circular knitting machine from Amazon EU which was the cheapest but took a little longer to arrive as it came directly from Germany (where Addi knitting machines are made). I didn’t pay anything extra like duty taxes, just what I’d paid when purchased. It arrived in perfect condition and it works perfectly too. Mine has a manual counter which I am happy with, though it does clunk as it goes round (the counter has a bit that sticks out inside that makes the counter count as the wheel turns round each time. I’ve made socks on mine using DK yarn easily, but it can makes lots of other things tube shaped and you can knit flat panels too. It comes with instructions and spare needles and a red tapestry needle for taking the knitted piece off the machine when binding off. Watch some YouTube videos to see how it’s used, it’s really quick and easy though I’d recommend taking your time so you don’t get dropped stitches (watching and not holding your yarn too tight helps a lot I’ve found). You can’t make hats on it, you don’t have enough needles, you need the bigger 46 needle Addi Kingsize for that, I’ve recently purchased one from Amazon too, I’m very happy with both machines as they’re relaxing to use and save my wrists from arthritis aches and pains I get from hand knitting.

go for the cheaper one and save money
This is not as good as the 46 needle machine, this is the second one I've had, I sent the other one back because it kept dropping stitches for no reason, this one isn't much better, I went for Addi because it's supposed to be the bees knees. ........It's not expensive usless lump of junk

It's a bit different to the 46 pin as in it takes a few rows to get going properly.
This machine is great for making small projects or for using in conjunction with other machines. It is a bit tough to get it cranking for the first few rows but after talking to other users this is quite normal and goes on to make great things. Looking forward to seeing what else I can make 😊

Far better quality than most

中国製に比べると動作がスムーズ。商品に細かな傷、箱がつぶれて届くという事もない。たど編むとゆったりしすぎとは感じるけど小さすぎるよりは良い。
