Brilliant treat/kibble dispensing toy
I got this for my puppy as she gobbles her meals in 2 bites and I worry about bloat. We already had the dog tornado which takes her 2 minutes, we also have some other dispensing toys. This is brilliant because you can cut the tabs to suit the size of your dogs kibble/ treats. I have left the tabs as puppy's kibble is pretty small and she needs more of a challenge. The rubber round the toy makes it much quieter when hitting walls etc than her other dispensing ball. At first she can get quite a bit out but as less kibble is inside the harder it gets. Takes her about 20 minutes to eat a full meal, sometimes she does give up with 1 or 2 pieces left and comes to find me to tell me open it up! All in all a great product I think if you want your puppy/ dog to work for its food, prevent bloat or just keep them busy while you have a cuppa.

Does what I'd hoped ...
New puppy was finishing his meal of kibble in such a short time. My puppy trainer suggested either scatter feeding or one of this type of feeder. This has worked a treat. The Kibble Nibble is oval shaped and you just put the amount of food per meal inside it, screw it back together and give it to the puppy (or dog). This is the small version and suits my pup to bits. At each end of the Kibble Nibble is an opening with small rubbery spikes which don't allow the food to just drop out - I believe these spikes can be trimmed if the dried food you're feeding is larger in size. Puppy's meal times now last about 30 minutes and it's quite fun watching him work at getting the food out .... sometimes he pulls it backwards with his paws and other times pushes it forwards with his nose. In the space of 4 meals he's also figured out that a spinning action sometimes drops quite a few bits of food at once! Item arrived well packaged and within a couple of days.

Absolute Godsend!!
I am a home boarder for dogs and in between walks and sleeps they need entertaining. I bought this treat ball for larger breeds as they go through chewies at a ridiculous rate.I have a 9 month old labrador staying at the moment and, no word of a lie, he has been playing with it for 3 hours straight!!I snipped the little plastic pieces off on the ends to make it slightly easier for the kibble to fall out but other than that this ball is nothing short of a miracle for keeping dogs busy!!

Good idea not well executed
Initially thought this would entertain my border terrier for a long time but within an hour I noticed he had chewed a lot of the plastic off and some how managed to open it and devour all the treats. The middle unscrews so with him throwing it around it must have come undone.

Not as good as expected
I saw this recommended on a review site and it seemed like a good idea. It certainly seemed to be a fun challenge for our dog having adjusted the openings so that the food pellets came out slowly. However on the first 2 tries with it so far she has managed to get it open. I think It does not close tightly enough (I closed it to the maximum possible but it still unscrews very easily) so after being knocked around the room and against furniture for a few minutes it loosens and then gradually unscrews.Edit: Tried it for the third time and again it came open. This time our dog managed to chew one piece so the rubber strips have started to came off. Useless now. Shame..

A great way to keep your dog's mind active
I bought this kibble dispenser because I have a high-energy dog who pesters me a lot to be played with. The Busy Buddy Kibble Nibble keeps her occupied for long periods. Either a full daily allowance of kibble feed can be dispensed throughout the day, or you can use a proportion of the dog's daily feed to allow for playtime while still having a set mealtime for the remainder. You should check the size of the kibble you want to use and whether it is too easy or too difficult to dislodge from the toy before you leave your dog to play with it. The tabs in the dispenser holes can be adjusted to allow for different sizes of kibble.

No good for border collie puppies
I loved the product at first, thinking it would be great for a border collie puppy. It didn't even last her passed 6 months. By 4 months she could unscrew it herself and eat the food out of it. I thought it was a fluke, so put it together again and tightened it back up. No, she took it apart and started to chew it. I took it off her straight away, but one attempted chew was enough to crack it at the side and stop it screwing together. At that point, it was more a risk than entertainment, so I threw it out. I wouldn't buy another one, the Kong variety is far more sturdy.

Great product
My Dachshund puppy loves this, it’s a great enrichment toy and we use it once a day to give him one of his meals. A good way to stop your dog from gobbling their food up too! Very easy to clean, doesn’t make too much noise (the rubber bits help a lot)The only downside is that it can unscrew as your dog rolls it around - would be better with a twist to lock mechanism.
