THE HEALING SECRETS OF THE AGES

I bought all of her books, and read them from time to time. OK, some people would say that her books are somewhat repetitive. Well, they need to be, the ideas are simple enough, but not easy if you were raised in our society. I find that  The Power of Your Subconscious Mind , The Neville Reader: A Collection of Spiritual Writings and Thoughts on Your Inner Power to Create an Abundant Life , Saving the World using the Law of Attraction: It always begins with a small group that starts talking , The Reality Creation Technique , Benevolent Magic & Living Prayer , also help to flesh out what she talks about. These are a lot easier to read than the classic New Thought books. You have to get out of your head, and into your heart. You cannot create from your head. You have to get the "flow" started, to see anything happen, this is why tithing works. What happens for you will be unique to you, not necessarily like what anyone else gets. Also, with all these methods, the stuff that happens seems like it would have happened anyway, which, if you think about it, is pretty powerful. The one reviewer said this seemed more New Age than Christian. Well, ok, if that's your focus, try Secrets of the Richest Man Who Ever Lived . But the basic ideas are the same. The first use of "New Age" in the sense I think that reviewer meant was in a book written in 1868, which isn't exactly contemporary. I mention other books, by way, because sometimes the most valuable part of a review, for me, on a book I really like, is the mention of similar books. I have found some gems that way. I encourage others to do likewise.

Found my first book of hers at a Yard Sale after I just moved out here to the boonies.Was from the 60s, it fell apart from me. Bought others and have enjoyed and valued them all! I'd love to Thank and Hug Ms. Ponder for getting me thru the pain!

One of her best books.

Catherine Ponder again reveals simple ideas for working with principles of natural laws for healing. According to this book, all illness is psychosomatic and she gives examples of how various thought processes affect each person. Then, she proceeds to show how each process can be countered by changing the thoughts that cause the illness. From cancer to the common cold, alcoholism to quitting smoking, her ideas are presented in a very readable format and are sensible and easy to do. At no time does she suggest that one not visit a medical professional if necessary, but she does suggest that these principles can help avoid some problems and work in conjunction with modern medicine. Have read it through three times and will again.

I purchased this book for my aunt. She has not read it yet;, but ,I have had it for many years. I love this book and I recommend this book for spiritual insights.

Book is in good shape

I myself have not read the book. It was recommended to me to give to my sister who is in 4th stage cancer and suffering with depression and anger. She reported to me that after reading this book, she immediately put the advice it contained into practice. Consequently, her cancer condition has changed dramatically. Her numbers are better, her xrays have revealed astonishing changes and her outlook is encouraged, to say the least. She attributes all this to prayer by her family and friends and also to the reading of this book. I plan on reordering one for two of our sons who also have severe health problems. I am grateful to Amazon.com for getting the book to me so quickly so I could send it to her.

I originally picked this book up randomly in a half price book store and immediately fell in love with Catherine Ponder, her wisdom, and her style. She teaches about the 12 mind powers we have throughout our body and organs, and how everything is connected, but that we can have blocks in those mind centers. Speaking words of truth and healing, we can clear those blocks and invite more good into these mind power centers and into our lives. Fabulous book. I'd recommend it highly for the truth seeker or anyone with chronic or debilitating illness. Perhaps what you need is a change in your thoughts and words? This book will help you do just that!

Superb and empowering read.

A very interesting book. A cure for many diseases, if you have faith.

Anyone whose life is adrift, needs structure or just enhancement should read this and then adopt the strategy. It works but needs regular consideration and use.
