Does it's job very well
Having purchased a small (and excellent) amplifier LEPY 2024A Plus Amplifier and connected it to a Google Chromecast audio, a cost effective way to distribute the signal to multiple speaker sets around the house was required and this device delivers that very well. The build quality is evident as the device has a decent heft to it (over a kilogram) and the buttons have a firm travel when pressed. One or more sets of stereo speakers can be in use at anytime although the button to the right should be pressed in when only a single pair is in use. There is an overload protection system built in and it requires no power. The sound quality is totally unaffected by this splitter and there is no detectable noise or click when additional speakers are turned on or off. The attention to detail evident in this device is what I assume separates this from the cheaper more plastic speaker switched on Amazon.

Better quality than I expected
I ordered this and expected it to be plastic and lightweight (didn't read the product specs - weighs in at 1.2 kg). It's really sturdy with rubber feet to prevent it from slipping and sliding on whatever surface you have it set upon. Really easy to set up. You need to unplug your amplifier speaker cables, add in 2 extra cables from the amp to the device and then plug your speaker cables into whichever of the 4 inputs you want to on the back of the device. I've only set up a single set of speakers at the moment (will update when I have all 4 set up) as I still need to cable the speakers into the rooms in the house but the sound quality has not been affected by sending the sound through the device. Re comments regarding the relative flimsiness of the cable connectors on the back of the device - I've connected my speakers without issue and don't envisage having to continually connect and un-connect them so haven't found this to be an issue. Comes with handy stickers that enable you to label the switches relevant to the rooms your speakers are in.

Good value
I wanted to connect a third set of speakers to my system, and this allows connect of four pairs of speakers, with four selector buttons. For some reason, mine arrived in a plain card box with no instructions. This seems odd, as all the others I have seen have a branded AV Link box. I managed to find an instruction sheet on line. This is required not because it's particularly difficult to connect, but to obtain an explanation of the fifth button marked "Single Pair Select" and how to use it. This is in fact a safety feature to ensure the amplifier is not presented with a speaker resistance of less than 5 ohm, which might cause amplifier damage. The build quality is good, the unit has a study metal case and the spring clip speaker terminals look to be of good quality. This is simply a "passive" switch box that does not require any kind of power source. All in all a good looking unit that looks to be working well, but something has gone wrong with the packaging and instructions. Perhaps mine was a returned unit that had been shipped out again? Anyway, four stars as the instructions were missing.

Does the job
Does the job simply and well. The buttons being in or out are the only indication that a speaker has been selected so it can be hard to tell how it is set from a distance (an indicator light would be nice). The cable inserts (bare cable only) are a little close together and fiddly, but once everything is in you don’t need to mess with it again.

Very pleased
Working very well with 3 pairs of speakers of different sizes. Gives nice balanced output and no noticeable interference or background noise. No big "click" noise when switching whilst playing. Very easy to set up. Feels robust and well made and looks good too - just as in picture.

Cheap spring speaker cable connectors
Overall, this isn't a bad product for the money. Other than the amplifier and speaker connectors, it feels sturdy and well built. The push button switches are positive and satisfying.. That said, however,, I would like to have seen speaker connection binding posts. As it is, we're treated to flimsy spring clips which are weedy and, insufficient to securely fix speaker cable of any real substance. It would also have been nice to see phono connections for the amplifier input. To sum up, another couple of quid would have seen this unit rated as excellent, by me at least. As it is, the spring connections rather let it down.

Great for connecting amplifier to up to four pairs of speakers
Our amplifier only has one pair of connections for speakers and we needed two pairs. This connector can connect up to four pairs, each one can be switched individually. The cable connectors are easy to use, push in and clamp, no screw connectors. Good value for money.

Speaker connections broken within 6 weeks
The product is completely let down by flimsy speaker wire connections. 2 of the connections have broken within 6 weeks and unfortunately outside the return period otherwise I would be sending this back. The product needs simple screw connections or banana plug connections instead of the flimsy plastic clips., which cannot cope with decent gauge speaker cables and certainly not QED classic cable.
