The assembly was simple, the app is weird but easy to use. The headlights themselves look gorgeous and they're insanely bright and fit nicely and the color changing DRL is fun and also insanely bright. The downside is the functionality of the passenger side headlight. Soon after using the headlights over 30 minutes I noticed one side started to go dim and blue rather than the crisp white it was originally. Before I knew it the passenger side went out completely, I turned them back on after 5 minutes and it came back on but it was the same blue hue and the light was noticeably not as bright as before. I took time to observe the light and inspect the connections to make sure they were fully seated, when I noticed smoke inside the headlight housing where the projector beam was emitting that dystopian future filter blue hue glow. The DRL boomerang had full functionality and was still very bright but the headlight part itself and the demon eye inside was noticeably darker and dim. Since I've noticed, and have taken every step to chase down the issue, the problem unfortunately remains persistent and I've come to the conclusion that I've gotten maybe a damaged pair of headlights. With either a bad circuit or maybe some light damage during the shipping process. However I absolutely WILL be buying these again and I pray it was just a one-off situation where I was an unfortunate customer playing an involuntary game of Russian Roulette with a defective product. I would've given 3 stars as the color changing function is an absolute joy to witness and the kids love it. But the customer service I experienced or shall I say, lack thereof, is absolutely inexcusable especially if you take pride in your products. At least SOME communication would've been nice...
