I can recommend the pen on the basis of a few days use - whether the law of diminuishing return can kick in I have yet to see - I certainly hope not as I am very pleased with results so far. Works but it's quite painful to use! *by J***A on 19 November 2013* My knee was giving me hard time and since none of the painkilling creams etc. worked, I decided to give this Pain Gone pen a go. Well I received it quickly and at first I was little bit unsure how this thing can even work. Well after using it couple of times I can now tell it does work, but it ain't the most comfortable devise to use. How it works is basically you put the pen agains your the skin you want to get "fixed" and press the button on the pen like 30-40 times. Each time you press the button the pen gives you a small electric "needle punch" that will give your brain a message to send some help to relieve the pain. This tiny "electric punch" isn't that bad at first but after you go over 10 presses, you will be surprised how uncomfortable this pen can be. For me reaching those 30 or even 40 presses is quite difficult since I simply wanted to stop by the time I reached approximately 20 presses. In some sense it's amazing how much "power" this pen has but overall this is basically "fight pain with pain" treatment method. It works but it ain't the most enjoyable way to get rid off the pain for sure.
