A high quality Omega 3 fish oil! Worth the cost!
This omega 3 fish oil is worth the money. Please try to use this before going on prescription drugs. If I take it regularly my cholesterol and triglyceride lab numbers are always better, in a more healthy range. (If it does not help bring your numbers into a healthy range, then let your doctor try a medication). This is well worth the cost. It is similar to other omega 3 fish oil supplements I have tried in the past, just a little cheaper.

Omega 3 Fish Oil Supplements From Forte Naturals Is What I Was Looking For Next!
I was very excited to try out this product as I’ve done my research on the benefits of Omega 3 supplements specifically for my mental health. I love how easy these are to take and I haven’t felt any negative side effects cap far! I wanted to go with a brand that prioritizes product quality and Forte Naturals made it very clear that quality is one of the many priorities on their list. I am looking forward to seeing the long term effects of this product I will be returning to make another review!

Great no burp fish oil!
What can I say it's all positives with this fish oil. No fishy burps. Made in Florida USA. High EPA and DHA content. Doesn't say it's ethyl ester version so I assume it's from triglycerides which is nice. Not much more to say. I have no complaints.

Only take if recommended by health professional
Reviewing vitamins and other over the counter items are a difficult task. Take vitamins for example, I’m taking them because they were recommended by my doctor after he gave some tests and decided that I needed certain supplements. Between vitamins and RX medications I’m taking around 15 different things a day. This makes it impossible for me to give an accurate opinion on the ability of the item helping me or not. So all I can say is check with a medical professional on what supplemental medications may be of use to you and avoid ones that aren’t recommended. If I am ever able to figure out if one of these supplemental food items have helped or hurt I will modify my review. Good luck and good health.

Far too expensive for us.
My wife and I take a fish oil supplement everyday and have done so for a decade. We're not doctors, but we do consult with our docs each year at our checkups. Going over our supplements with our docs is very helpful, because they've offered wise advice each time. And we're mentioning that as a recommendation for other customers: Check with your docs as you develop your plan for supplements. In our case, our docs actually recommended that we add the fish oil each day. Because this is a constant in our lives, we have found a couple of "go to" brands that we reorder via Amazon each time we need refills. Typically, we expect to pay about $15 for a year's supply. Over the last year, that price went up a bit. We're now paying about $20 to stock up for a year. When we agreed to try and review this product, we did not really calculate the cost. Then, as we checked out the product and got ready to write this review, we realized this costs $26.99 for a one month supply! Just do the math like we've done it and you'll likely question whether you want to spend this much. Since we do order our preferred brands through Amazon, I will mention them here and you can check them out as you continue shopping. Typically, we're ordering the Kirkland brand, but we've also gone with the Nature's Bounty brand as well, depending on price.

A medium omega-3 concentration at higher than deserved price
. SOURCE: The manufacturer and the origin of the fish oil [FO] are unidentified. The finished OEM product is sourced by the nutraceutical labeller Forte Naturals, a Delaware LLC, which has a courier street address as well as a P.O. Box in Miami, both with a PTY postal identifier for a Panama's final destination. (The same courier addresses are utilized by several entities of Panama Offshore Legal Services, Inc., now d/b/a POLS.) FORMULATION: This is a medium grade FO. Each capsule contains 400 mg of EPA; 300 mg of DHA; 150 mg of other omega-3s; and 2400 mg of total fat. Amounts of total carbohydrates and sodium, if any, are not provided. The ratio of EPA+DHA to all the omega-3s is 82%, and the ratio of all omega-3s to FO is 68%. It is likely the ethyl esterified form of the oil (produced by the addition of alcohol to commercial FO to detoxify mercury and carcinogens), as there is no indication that it is the re-esterified form. Received in late September, the bottle has an April 2024 expiry date. PRICING: FO is not inexpensive, and an informed method for brand price comparisons is useful for a long-term daily supplementation. The many brands in this platform have a wide range of price, and the different amounts of active ingredients, serving size doses, and capsules per container make comparisons difficult. My attached figure is a table with price parameters of the 10 FO brands that also provide the total oil amount (anonymized as brands "A" through "J" in the table), which first to appear when I made an Amazon search for "EPA DHA fish oil". Values in green font are averages of these brands' parameters. The table also displays the same parameters for this FO in red font at the right-most column. By and large, this oil does not rank well in these price metrics : despite EPA and DHA amounts close to the average of the other brands, it has the highest price/day, the second-highest price/capsule, and a ratio of omega-3s/oil at the lower end of the range. DOSAGE: All serving suggestions are arbitrary as omega-3s Daily Values have not been established in the US, so follow your physician's recommendation. The European Food Safety Authority considers the long-term supplementation with EPA and DHA to be safe at a combined dose of up to about 5 g/day. Similarly, the FDA has concluded that supplements providing no more than 5 g/day of EPA and DHA are safe. SIDE EFFECTS: The most common side effects of omega-3 supplements are usually mild. They include unpleasant taste, bad breath, gastrointestinal discomfort, heartburn, loose stools, and smelly sweat; taking FO with meals or freezing it can reduce such issues. Some side effects seem the more common the smaller the omega-3s/fish-oil ratio. With one third of each capsule occupied by non-omega-3 components, like other fatty acids and fats, I suspect this FO is likely to promote smelly exudations in some people. --
