A requirement for a blood pressure monitor was needed for my dad, and the only brand I could think of was Omron. There was no option of choosing any other manufacturer. Omron are the leaders in this industry, and all medical facilities use this brand. The M3 intelli sense model was the best priced version when compared to the other offerings. It features an easy to use fascia with just one button. It takes 4 AA sized batteries and an input for a plug in adaptor, however the adaptor would need to be purchased separately if you require this option. It is easy to use and even has an indication to tell the user whether the arm band is tight enough around the arm. The device has memory for 2 users with a simple slide button to switch between the users. The blood pressure indicator is clear and precise on screen. The kit is extremely well built, and the quality shows. If looked after, it will last for years. Great bit of kit, forget the other fancy ones which have Bluetooth or phone app capability. This is all you need for an easy to use, no hassle blood pressure monitor device. Buy it.

Now of an age where I need to take more interest in my BP (!) I thought I'd invest in this when it was a lightning deal. I have to say, I'm so pleased with it that I'd have happily paid the normal price. The instructions are clear & easy to follow and within a few minutes of opening the box, I'd taken my first reading.All I needed to do was insert the included Duracell batteries (thanks, Omron for not supplying iffy generic batteries!); set the date and time; attach the air tube to the machine; wrap the cuff around my arm & press 'Start.' The reading is large and easy to read and there are clear warning lights/symbols if any of your measurements are outside the norm. The big plus of this machine is that the cuff accommodates a huge range of arm sizes. My arms are big & with many machines I'd have to buy a separate, extra-large cuff - but this would fit pretty well any arm, I imagine. I don't understand people's comments about the difficulty in attaching the cuff correctly. There is a warning light/cut out feature that prevents a reading if the cuff is attached too loosely - this is apparently because if it's too loose it can give a false reading. But it isn't a case, as one reviewer suggests, of having to position the cuff 'just so.' I've tried being fairly slapdash with it - & as long as the cuff is actually closed & tight enough, I got a reading every time. (And 'tight enough' doesn't mean circulation-stopping - I found quite a range of tightness to be accepted by the machine.) Depending on the battery performance, I may order the mains adaptor from Omron. This looks strong and sturdy and looks like it's built to last. Highly recommend!

I purchased the “Omron Healthcare M3 Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor” because I had high blood pressure due to another medical issue, the hospital advised me to either purchase a monitor or visit the nurse at my local GP surgery a couple of times a week which I didn’t fancy doing. This monitor is brilliant and so simple to use, there is a switch that allows you to record the pressure of 2 people if required. The upper arm cuff slides on simply and if incorrectly positioned the unit will advise you, the cuff also allows use on small to large arms, I have used this on my 10 year old son and my 43 year old arm and even on mine there is a lot of space for larger arms. The monitor will alert you if your blood pressure is outside the normal range, until I had these problems I had no idea what the normal range is. The monitor takes 4 AA batteries which are included, it also has a port to allow connection of a 6V DC adapter but you will have to purchase this separately. This product has saved me so much time and the boredom of being sat in the GP surgery waiting for my blood pressure to be tested so it is the best £35 I have spent in a long time.

Great BP monitor, easy to use and I found the cuff very comfortable. I have slightly larger arms so it is great to have a cuff that is sized for both smaller and larger arms rather than having to buy an extra cuff. I found it reassuring to have the OK light on the machine that tells you if you have wrapped it to the right tightness as well. And will give you an error if it's too loose...too many machines will just give you a reading anyway even though it's bound to be inaccurate. For me, monitoring at home unsupervised, this made things a bit more foolproof! It also tells you if you moved too much during the reading. The only issue I had with this machine is that I cannot take readings from my left arm - it gives me an error. I previously ordered the M6 Omron machine and sent it back because of the same issue. When I got this one (M3) it did the exact same thing which then led me to think that the machine wasn't the problem...it must be something about my arm and the way it takes the measurement (I've had more than one phlebotomist tell me I have weird, deep veins lol!!). As soon as I swapped to the right arm it worked completely normally time after time giving consistent readings. So I always take the reading from the right arm now which my GP says is fine. Overall very happy with it.

Le tensiomètre possède une mode de fonctionnement simple. Il suffit de mettre le brassard autour du bras. Pour ma part, j'utilise le gauche. Garder le bras tendu, ne pas bouger pendant la mesure. Le fil doit être au dessus. Le brassard prend en compte les tours de bras de 22 à 42 cm. Les batteries sont sur 4 piles 1,5v LR6 - AA. Il existe la possibilité d'utiliser un chargeur externe. Perso, je prends ma tension 2 fois par jour minimum. Et pour le moment, aucun soucis de charge. Les bons points la présentation dans une housse avec la console principale n'est pas trop compliquée à utiliser. Un bouton stop/arrêt pour la mettre en marche. 2 petits personnages si vous êtes plusieurs à prendre la tension chez vous et le brassard pneumatique. OMRON fournit 4 piles neuves 1.5v AA. Les modes d'emploi sont dans plusieurs langues, ils sont détaillés et complets. J'ai apprécié d'avoir un carnet à avec tous les mesures. Si le brassard est mal mis, la console l'indique, si on bouge pareil, si on est dans le rouge.. J'ai comparé les mesures avec celles de mon médecin, elles sont identiques. Rapide et portatif, parfait pour surveiller sa tension.

La marca me la recomendó la doctora de familia que visito en el centro de salud. El aparato adquirido en Amazon me llegó al día siguiente, perfectamente embalado en su caja original. Su uso es sencillísimo, Sólo es necesario colocar las cuatro pilas proporcionadas, conectar el tubo del manguito, colocárselo en el antebrazo izquierdo y pulsar la tecla de inicio. A fin de poder realizar un seguimiento de la tensión arterial, es recomendable establecer el año, la fecha y la hora y minuto. Este modelo (M3) guarda hasta sesenta mediciones de cada uno de los dos usuarios previstos. Una vez completadas las sesenta mediciones, guarda las siguientes borrando la más antigua. El cambio de las pilas mantiene los datos de fecha y hora que estaban introducidos. Dispone de la función promedio, de hasta las tres últimas mediciones de tensión de los últimos diez minutos. Las instrucciones (cuya lectura es muy recomendable) están en español, además de otros muchos idiomas, y son realmente eficaces. La única conexión posible en este modelo es a la corriente eléctrica, mediante un adaptador de corriente que hay que adquirir aparte. El precio (en Amazon) es la mitad aproximadamente del de todas las farmacias que he consultado. Y la única duda que ahora tengo es cómo y dónde hacer uso de la garantía, si fuera preciso. Estoy muy satisfecho con la adquisición de este tensiómetro, que recomiendo a quien precise su utilización.

The product is exactly as expected. Seems to be quite accurate and having the possibility to use either batteries or cable is a big plus. Good value for money

Da tempo mi serviva un apparecchio che mi aiutasse a monitorare la mia pressione arteriosa. Ho scelto questo prodotto e, soprattutto questo marchio, poiché è lo stesso che viene scelto dall’azienda sanitaria presso cui lavoro. Mi affido quindi alla sua precisione nel rilevare i dati pressori da anni, cosa che altri apparecchi non fanno fornendo dei numeri approssimativi e poco veritieri. Facile da utilizzare anche a casa: le modalità di utilizzo sono perfettamente spiegate tramite un disegno facilmente comprensibile anche da coloro che non sono del mestiere. Pratica, veloce nel calcolo dei risultati, facilmente trasportabile. Nella confezione troverete in dotazione una borsetta all’interno della quale potrete riporre il vostro apparecchio. Forse il tessuto di cui è fatta la piccola borsetta potrebbe essere un po’ più spesso e leggermente rivestito in modo da ammortizzare e proteggere di più la vostra macchinetta e non così sottile ma comunque accettabile per l’uso che dovrete farne. L’apparecchio, si presta anche nel contare i vostri battiti cardiaci al minuto e soprattutto ha la capacità di mantenere in memoria i risultati ottenuti subito dopo ogni misurazione mostrandovi una vera e propria cronologia numeri rilevati. Inoltre sarà possibile registrare i dati di due utenti, sarà vostra cura spostare l’apposito pulsante che vi consentirà di farlo, per registrare i dati sul primo o sul secondo utente che utilizza la macchinetta. Questa opzione non si mostrerà vincolante, infatti potranno sottoporsi alla misurazione della pressione il numero di tutte le persone che riterrete necessario. La consiglio a tutti coloro che hanno bisogno di tenere sotto controllo la propria pressione sanguigna senza rinunciare all’affidabilità ed alla professionalità.
