A: Mine came with 3

**Q: does this come with a remote control for controlling phone camera shutter or  video?**
A: Of course not, it's a stand! If you need a remote control for your device I'd contact the manufacturer.....

**Q: Would a Nexus 5 fit this stand?**
A: Probably! My iPhone 7 plus fits in this comfortably.

**Q: Do you think its better than clip on desk ones? I can't decide to go with this or clip on.**
A: In my opinion, yes. We use ours for videoing our desk whilst working & clip on an iPad for face videos. We used to use a clip on holder, but it picked up to much vibrations on the desk. This stand is a lot more stable and less camera wobble. Obviously the price has to factor into you decision & it took us a while before we purchased this one. Hope that has helped
