This comfry oil still works just as well with the sunflower oil. It helps heal your muscles from pain and soothes the area. Smells nice and is not greasy. I wish this bottle was more of a pipet type opening instead of the bottle hole opening being as wide as it is. Just gives you more control of placing the oil on your body. Good quality oil and goes a long way. Last quite a long time. It absorbs really well. I would recommend.

Received mine yesterday. After 2 years of neuropathic pain after full knee replacement and recently under going surgery for fractured femur. My legs were swollen and painful with odema in my feet. After 2 days using it the pain is subsiding a and swelling has gone down I am very impressed with this product.

I like this oil because it doesn’t have a scent like others I have tried and is colourless too, so I don’t have to worry about it staining my clothes. It also isn’t as greasy as other oils and absorbs easily into the skin. In my opinion I guess the purpose of such oils is to soothe and relax painful areas and help loosen the muscles. But no oil can fully eliminate the pain. I feel it helped me to relax for a while after using but my pain is still there. I guess what I’m trying to say is pain relief from oil is temporary and for certain types of complex and chronic pains, using just oils are not enough. Nevertheless good product to use alongside medication and heat treatment, etc.

Superb comfrey oil which is PA-free so much safer for regular usage. It has a subtle aroma and is of a medium viscosity: it’s great blended with calendula. This is also excellent value for money, as is always the case with Natures Aid.

I can't say if it works or not as i am using it only for a 3 days. But i am disappointed as it's described as comfrey oil made from root and leaf. Unfortunately in first place it's sunflower oil, with comfrey leaf. Apart that, absorbing very well, moisture my skin, no fragrance.

Brillant just the job

This is an all round great product at a good price. I use this regularly as my daighter suffers from eczema and we have tried many products. Epaderm (prescribed cream similar to 50/50) worked well but left her sweaty and uncomfortable. E45 gave her a burning sensation whenever she had a scratch or a cut, even the milder ones. Aveeno much milder but discomfort and stinging sensation on cracked skin. This oil has been wonderful no crying or screaming when applied. Once you remove the lid it has a drip affect nozzle which is fantastic. Many natural oils do not have this which leads to spills on carpet or furniture and wasted product. It is multi purpose my mum was bitten and had an allergic rash, this oul soothed it. It is light enough so I now use it on my face as it can be difficult to find a good moisturiser for dry yet sensitive skin. I occasionally put it in the bath to help soften my daughters skin during the winter months. I have been using this for several months only cons is that it is an add on item. When you are able to use it in so many ways I find ordering 3 at a time beneficial but noy ideal when recommending it to family or friends.
