Love, love, love these pencils! Beautifully soft lead that makes layering a dream. Comfortable to hold. If you use gentle layers with the darker grades, rather than applying too much pressure, then the pencil will last longer.

Staedtler Mars Lumograph pencils. I am so glad I purchased these. I used to sketch in pencil, but then started sketching in pen for many years. I recently wanted to go back to pencil sketching, but, couldn't decide what pencils to purchase...I definitely made the right choice here. These pencils are perfection. For anyone who has ever used a 'cheap' pencil, you will notice immediately the difference. These pencils are smooth, and they glide onto the paper with such ease, like a knife through butter...wonderful. There are no 'gritty' bits in the lead. The pencils are not round in shape, they are hexaganel, which personally, I find fit easier in the hand, and do not slip from your fingers. They also sharpen without breaking (use a Staedtler sharpener). In this tin set you get 6B 5B 4B 3B 2B B HB F H 2H 3H and 4H, and I found that more than adequate for me, and for most people, that really would be all you need. The pencils sit perfectly inside a plastic compartment (individual slots), inside the tin, and so they do not move around and get damaged. As I have been sketching for many, many, years, I would say that Staedtler and Derwent are now my only choice. Buy the Staedtler Mars Lumograph pencils with confidence.

Just as titled! but manual said that there was meant to be a rubber, sharpener and a few more things, aswell as the pencils but great quality, nice to draw with, very comfortable!

These are excellent premium quality pencils by Staedtler for sketching. There are 12 x 8mm pencils in total ranging from 2H to 8B. The degrees of softness are: 2H, H, F, HB, B, 2B, 3B, 4B, 5B, 6B, 7B, 8B. They are presented in a nice metal tin which provides good protection and easy access. The highly distinctive blue, silver and black top livery is iconic and it hasn't changed in years. I have used these pencils before and they have never let me down. This set is excellent for building up tone in portrait or landscape sketches for example. They sharpen well without splintering, and are comfortable to hold and use. The graphite is super smooth on paper and does not scratch at all like cheaper pencils. The graphite also erases easily so you can perfect your work. There is something very nice and satisfying about a good quality pencil like this one. This is a great set for any artist or student alike. Recommended.

Excellent quality and delivered on time

I recently got into graphite art and I wanted to update my remaining student-grade pencils to artist quality. I did some research first and I'm glad I chose these. They go on smoothly, are never gritty and so far, I've had no breakages despite sometimes pressing hard on the paper. They are nicely presented too, which is always a bonus! A good range of light, mid and dark tones (at least for a beginner like me). I'm sure I will buy them again.

Amazon por supuesto solo se lava las manos y no ayuda a corregir y conseguir el artículo correcto, se rinden ante su propia ineptitud y se limitan a decir "oops" y a regresar el dinero.

This pencil is very soft in shading it was very good the pencil wooden quality is also awesome the grip of this pencil was also good the black pencil is also good but I will recommend to buy 12 piece because in 24 piece some pencils are too light such as lightest shade is 9h that is not used in shading and there are also many light shades, quality is also good of light shades but after hb shade the pencils are used for shading so you can 12 piece set rather than 24 . One important thing is that the pencils box is shown of tin but you will get plastic box of the pencils .
