Easy to Install Good Thermostat
Delivered within the promised time frame. It is very easy to install, and being non-programmable, it is very easy to use. It is reasonably-priced. The only complaint I have is that the instructions for installation do not tell you how to separate the front and back parts of the thermostat. I started pulling them apart, but wondered if I would break something from the inside. I took the chance and one really just has to literally pull them apart. One side has two pointy appendages that fits right into two holes from the other side, but how was I to know that? I tried asking Rufus, Amazon's AI, and he had no answer. When I found out how it was done, I sent Rufus the information so he knows what to tell the next person asking him the same question. I hope the company is paying attention because this is such a basic information that they should not have omitted.

Simple DIY Project
Just installed replacing a 20 year old thermostat. Installation, on my 3 wire cool only system, was very easy. Temperature reading matched the old one. Just four stars for now, we'll see how it performs over the next few weeks.

easy replacement for a broken thermostat.
Came with labels for the wires so they could be correctly connected to the new unit. Worked perfect the first time.

Good value
these are simple to install and use. As an hvac technician I like these As an affordable and simple option for my customers, especially my older customers that don't want all the bells and whistles, big bright display and simple buttons.

Excellent, it is a very good thermostat.!
Excellent, it is a very good thermostat. It has big numbers for seniors to see clearly without glasses. This thermostat turn on immediately when the temperature of the room goes below the number that you have settled for it. Also, for some reason even my old boiler is working better than when I used to have a programable thermostat that had small numbers, and It had to be pushing on to keep the room temperature. I will recommend this thermostat for the valuable price too.

Worthless piece of
After detaching my old thermostat (two of which I installed myself), I tried attaching the appropriate wires to the baseboard of the new one. Some of the screws that had to be loosened were driven in so tight that I finally had to use a specialist precision screwdriver to get them loose. Then, I put it new batteries and tried to attach the cover. After a half hour struggling, I managed to get it loosely attached, but it wasn't sitting right, probably because the pins were misaligned. The last straw was that the front control panel wouldn't light up, even after replacing one set of batteries with new ones. And needless to say, the thermostat didn't work at all. I finally had to remove it and reinstall my old thermostat -- which of course worked like a charm. You REALLY don't want this!
