Steak and carmelized onions
The smell was delicious and tasted very flavorful. The hamburger tasted gourmet and it was a welcome addition to burgers on the grill. I look forward to adding the carmelized onions to more sandwiches.

Mix this with a good mayonnaise (2 mayo to 1 confit) and put it on a smoke pork butt with lettuce and tomato sandwich. Even my finicky a$$ friends loved it!

UPDATE - the seller saw my review and responded with a full refund!! so incredibly kind. they offered an apology that i wasn't happy with the jam which i thought was so thoughtful. based on their kindness, i will most likely try some of their other products. a very happy ending to a mouthful of pepper. lol! NOT in the online ingredients list: whole peppercorns!!! I HATE pepper so was extremely upset to bite down on a whole peppercorn. Besides peppercorns, this tasted like it had some type of bell or red/spicy pepper. My husband likes all kinds of peppers but he didn’t like this onion confit.

Nice, complex flavor
This Mulhouse onion jam tastes good. It has a slightly sweet and sour flavor with a robust onion taste to it. It has a thick texture with chunks of onion in it as well. It smells tangy and appetizing, and goes well with cold meats and cheese. It is a nice condiment for fish, burgers, hot dogs as well. This comes in a glass jar with a metal lid. The ingredients are simple and clean. No artificial additives or preservatives. Made in Belgium. Overall, this is a pretty interesting onion jam. Nice, complex flavor. It is versatile and works well on hot and cold meats, fish, etc. I like it a lot. Good product.
