Works perfectly and turns a small heat bulb on in low temperatures, to keep pipes from freezing in my RV wet bay. I'm happy with a Good brand, vs cheap knockoff.

Bought the two pack to control heat lamps for a dog house. One of them didn't work and the customer service person was very helpful and quickly responded to get the issue resolved promptly. I appreciate that as much as the product working!

I am halfway through the first winter with this hooked up to an ordinary space heater. Works ok. The only little nitpick is you have to be directly in front of it to see if the indicator light is illuminated. If you're off to the side, the light does not show.

The unit I received did not work as described. When plugged in, the plug did send electricity to the space heater, which was set to 600W. However, the thermostat plug shut off after less than one minute, not even enough time to warm up the space heater, let alone my RV interior. I tried unplugging and resetting the unit. The same thing happened. Based on the description, I expected the plug to cycle on when the temperature reached 38 degrees, cycle off at about 50 degrees, etc. it didn't. The seller provided additional suggestions for testing, and when those failed, sent a replacement, on the assumption that the thermostat plug was faulty. After testing the replacement extensively in a 33 degree environment I found that the current draw of even a 400W space heater warms the plug itself and it shuts off after a minute or two, never allowing the heater to warm the area as intended. The unit worked fine with a 16W LED lamp, but that kind of defeats the purpose, which is to cycle a space heater to keep an area from freezing. I'm not sure how low the wattage of the heater needs to be in order to not overheat like this, but since it even shut down with a 400W mini-heater, I don't recommend this as a thermostat for a space heater.

These are great to put in the well house. So when the temperature drops well below freezing, they turn on a couple of heat lamps and keep my well pump from freezing.

True to temperature range and nearly indestructible

It seems to work exactly as we intended. The water heater turns on and off to keep the critters water from freezing. It seems much more reliable and robust than the water bowl thermostat . That always seems to be the most likely thing to fail on those.

Cannot be used if your receptacle has a trap door cover. Not the fault of the design. if you need two, better to buy two singles than one, double.
