The rush of rejuvination, rebirth, and ascension that comes from Praying and Learn To Let Go, is absolutly incredible and are easily two of my favorite songs of all time. I really appreciate this album coming at a time in my life that I really needed the words from this album. I hope that she is able to come back from whatever she has been through and get herself back to a place where she is both mentally, physically, and emotionally healthy. Initially I skipped over the slower songs like "Bastards" and "Praying," and I wasn't quite sure what to make of album closer "Spaceship," but after a couple listens, I love these songs just as much as the upbeat, singalong-ready "Learn to Let Go," "Boogie Feet," and "Let 'Em Talk." THIS is the album Lady Gaga wanted to make with Joanne and Katy Perry wanted to make with Witness--but NEITHER of them have the raw vulnerability, honesty, sheer strength, and power showcased here. What a voice. There is almost no song on this album I don’t like. It flows so well too like an album should. She’s a great songsmith who can really craft a hook. Danceable hummable and the song praying really resonated with me like it did with so many other women I am sure.
