I bought this awhile ago and a part of the microphone stand had broke off as it was usually a point of stress and the piece was a plastic likely printed piece that under stress broke. There are no replacements for this part on the internet that fit as it’s custom. Thankfully they sent me a replacement part after 3-4 emails over time for free. I used a super giga glue that kept me going in the mean time so I recommend this stand for its quality - sub that single component - and Ixtechs customer service for the replacement.

Before purchasing this beauty I had the basic black metal arm boom that everyone usually gets. It wasn't aesthetic enough for me and I was in the middle of upgrading my gaming setup and found this gem! Beautiful mic arm boom. Easy to install and has two options to do so. Arm boom is very durable. I have a pretty heavy mic too and it holds it with no problems. I'm not afraid to move the arm boom around either. Arm boom also hides the mic chord perfectly. No complaints tbh.

I recently purchased the IXTECH boom arm in the Valiant model with the optional extension tube, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. This mic arm is an absolute game-changer for my recording setup and frees up my desk so I can work during Zoom calls. Previously, I used a SHURE tripod. This was also a great product, but was bulky—almost seven inches across the base—and I wanted something that would let me use my desk and talk at the same time. Let’s hit the essentials: The build quality of this boom is exceptional. The arm is large (almost too large), metal, and solidly built, making it feel incredibly durable. The added height with the extension tube easily reaches over my monitors, providing a clutter-free workspace. Mounting the IXTECH boom arm also was a breeze. The C-clamp securely attached to my desk without budging, and if I ever need a different mounting option or feel inclined to drill holes in my desk, the grommet attachment is there for me. The boom arm folds easily. What sets this mic arm apart is its stabilization system. I can freely move the arm around without worrying about readjusting the angle or position of my microphone, camera, or other devices. It's a real time-saver, especially during zooms or podcast recordings. And in my experience, the microphone stays rock-solid and doesn't shake or rattle. If one of the three joints needs adjusting, a simple twist and tightening of a twist lock (can be done manually) is all that is required. I also appreciate the universal compatibility with microphone shock mounts and accessories. The IXTECH boom arm fits both 5/8" and 3/8" threading, making it suitable for a variety of setups. As others here have noted, cable management is the weakest feature. It is comprised of two plastic parts that snap/slide in place carefully over a cable guide tunnel. You must use care to avoid breaking these plastic covers, but once they are in place, you don’t have to fiddle with them again. I highly recommend this product as a worthwhile investment.

was a little difficult getting everything to the perfect weight setting so it would stop just straightening and putting my mic up in the air, but once i got past that it’s perfect!! it’s incredibly adjustable, i’m able to move my mic with me whether i’m sitting straight in my chair, leaning to either side, or reclining. the white looks great with the rest of my set up. it is a bit expensive but i’d say i’m getting good value for the money. it supports my hyperx quadcast s great! i also like that i can feed the wire all the way through the arm so it’s not hanging out anywhere weird.

PROS: This arm works great and conceals the wires well. The articulation is smooth and has a good range of motion. I can't say how well it holds a heavy microphone, but it holds my Audio Technica AT2020 XLR without issue. CONS: The clamp included can be unstable or loose on some thinner objects. It tends to fit a little loose on my desk unless I really crank it down. The included rubber pads to protect the mounting surface is cheap and falls apart with time and use. It is easily replaced if needed though.

This is perfect for my Samson G Track Pro. It’s super sturdy and mobile. 10/10

I finally got it hooked up but, it arrived quickly and though a tiny little magnet that comes with it was broken, everything else was perfect and so, I’ll just contact them to see if they can send one out to me but, it’s almost meaningless. It’s just to stick onto the base of the arm so, I can have a place to hold the little Allen Wrench that comes with it. Anyway, I also learned that it can not only be clamped onto the side of a desk, they include the parts to mount it more permanently through a hold on a desk, which is great. I have it going and it’s really nice so, I’m happy it’s the one I chose, especially since I have an SM7B microphone and weight was a concern so, that’s why I bought this one. The lights look really cool too so, with everything considered, they make it even easier to recommend it!

Mic arm looks good and functioned well for a bit but unfortunately seems to be cheap plastic. The ball joint snapped during a meeting and damaged a really nice microphone. Wouldn't trust this arm with an expensive mic.

アーム部分はプラスチックなので金属の高級感には劣るものの、かと言って安っぽい印象は全くありません。台座部分だけは延長ポール含めて金属なので、デスクへの取り付け・固定も不安なく行えます。AT2040を取り付けたところ、非常に軽く動き、止めたいところでピタッと止まります。最初からこのくらいの重さのマイクに調整されているようです。メジャーなメーカーの製品よりも低価格かつ使い勝手の面でも不足ありません。買って良かった。
