The good: I love the easel. The canvases, easel, palette knives, plastic palette, and wooden palette are all amazing. Fine quality and well worth the price! You do get a lot of brushes, and a lot of different types of brushes. The bad: The paints and brushes are cheap. The brushes have stray hairs, that are already all over the place when I opened them. The hairs of the brushes come off in your painting. Personally, this drives me crazy. This is the second time I have bought this set. The first time, the easel was missing a screw. It wasn't such a big deal to send it all back, but luckily I rigged something that would work.

This painting set has absolutely everything needed to begin painting. I got this set for myself and my for my 14 year old to share. We are novice painters and just like to do it for pleasure. I was excited that this set leaves out any guess work of what kind of paint brushes to get - it had everything we needed to get started immediately. The easel itself is very sturdy and durable and easy to set up. We can easily fold it up and store it under the bed when not in use. The ledge makes it capable of holding small to large canvas’ in place. I love the assortment of acrylic colors. They are vibrant and full coverage. The paint comes organized by shade/color so you can easily find the one you want. The canvas’ are very nice and I was excited to try the black canvas, the colors really pop on this. I’m beyond pleased with this set. I could imagine it being good for intermediate painters, not just a beginner like myself. However. As a beginner I did like having the convenience of ALL that is needed being available in one set.

My mom started getting into painting, so I purchased this set for her birthday. She absolutely loved it! It came with everything she needed and more. The easel was super easy to put together and there is enough storage in the easel to stow paints, brushes, spatulas etc.. great bang for your buck. If you have an aspiring artist in your family or social group and you’re looking to get them a nice gift, I recommend this product, they won’t be disappointed.

Everything listed is in the box. The build quality is good . Set up is easy and adjustments are also easy . Extra attention needed when tightening fasteners as the adjustments made will move if specific attention is not paid when tightening things down.

Everything was great with this. My only disappointment was the paint brushes were all frayed and losing hair

This is a beautiful paint set, but it has a crack in the left leg causing it to wobble and be unsteady. Hoping the seller will be able to replace the leg rather then having to take completely down again and dealing with the headache of sending everything back. If it wasn’t for the cracked leg it would have received 5 stars.
