I have a cistern with the new Fluidmaster flapper valve installed and drop in cistern blocks containing chlorine must not be used as they will cause damage. HOWEVER, I contacted Ecozone to find out if their Forever Flush product contained chlorine or similar chemicals and they told me no and that their product would be safe to use. Six units on. all is still well with the cistern parts. I only use the blue versions though and cannot say if this is the case with the purple version. **Q: Does this turn the water blue? I put it in the loo a few days ago and its still running clear?!?! Thanks** A: It will turn blue takes about a week too start working. It will only stay a light blue I find this just as good. You will also find it will last about 6 months. I will use again. **Q: Can this be safely used with saniflo toilets** A: As far as I can remember a saniflow cistern only holds water in the same way as a conventional toilet and as the stuff is in a jar as long as you can get the jar in the cistern I’d have thought it should be ok however I would check on the saniflow website **Q: when it is finished - presume you have to put your hand in the cistern to remove? or does it just biodegrade naturally?** A: You have to fish it out but the water in your cistern is clean unlike the bowl.
