I usually buy the Dorwest and in fact when these arrived, I realised that that garlic was a very tiny percentage of the tablet. So I ordered more of the Dorwest (have a look at their site - great alternative meds for dogs and cats) I went into Holland and Barrett to see if I could buy the equivalent dose there (they are pretty good at advising for pets) but all too high, which would not be safe for dogs. So, our cockerpoo weighs 10.5 kilos and I give her 2 a day of the Dorwest garlic and these vetzyme tabs, anything up to 5 or 6 a day, but obviously I am not giving these now. Dorwest is more expensive, but it is just garlic. our dog is a scavenger, and garlic (the correct dose) is good for tummys, internal parasites .... etc (so the bottle says ...) all I know is that we have been giving our small dog these since she was 6 months and she is now 3 years old!! There is more info on garlic tabs on the other site (don't want to push it cos, Vetzyme is good as well, but not exactly what I wanted, altho it was much cheaper) So have a look and see what it says.
