Speak 510 Speaker Phone - Unified Communications Certified Portable Conference Speaker with USB – Connect with Laptops, Smartphones and Tablets

Excellent little conference speaker. I work from home and have a lot of meetings on Skype (formally Lync) and I got fed up with having to put on a headset. The sound quality is excellent, it is clear and loud, I have asked how I sound on the other end and people didn't know I was using a speaker, the sound was very clear. You can connect your laptop/pc via USB and also simultaneously connect your mobile with Bluetooth. As an audio speaker I tested it out with Spotify, there isn't a lot of bass with it being so small, but the sound isn't tinny, however its a conference speaker, if you wanted an audio listening speaker you probably would have bought something else that's cheaper and sounds better for music. The speaker is plug and play as far as the laptop/pc goes, mine just worked, I doubled checked the settings in Skype and it automatically picked up the speaker, for Bluetooth like any other device it has to be paired, I have paired and used it with a Samsung Note 5, S5, OnePlus2 without issues. On the top of the speaker there are touch controls for volume, mute, start/end call, LEDS on the top indicate the volume level, a white LED comes on when its switched on, when paired with Bluetooth and additional blue light comes on. The speaker has spoken instructions and tells you when it turns it has connected to something. It is has rechargeable battery and is very portable and is supplied with a neoprene type zip case, the USB cable wraps around the speaker and latches so there arnt any annoying trailing cables.

Significantly improves the quality of phone calls from the laptop - much better/clearer/louder sound and a superb mic. People have no idea I am on a laptop call instead of a normal phone line. The bluetooth connectivity of the 510 is also worth the extra money if you don't want to have your mobile phone held against your ear, or to allow several people to all listen/talk on your mobile (e.g. on an improvised conference call in the office). Excellent product - well worth the money.

Getting the good stuff out of the way - the sound quality is excellent and the microphone is really superb. I've used this for a good month now, fully working from home. With conferences on Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, these have all been much clearer, easier to interact on, using the 510. If I'm not on video as well, it is entirely feasible to walk around the room and still participate. I have even used this as the sole sound source and microphone in a hybrid meeting, very large space, twenty people online with twenty people present. Everyone in the room could hear (up to 20 feet away) and even questions asked from the floor were entirely audible to the online participants. So technically this is an awesome piece of kit for small to medium meetings in most venues (I haven't tried this in a noisier environment yet). The only downside I have noted is that the Bluetooth connection is not compatible with Windows 10 (confirmed by Jabra support, Windows 10 will not see the Jabra bluetooth device; my model is 7510-209) and you have to use the USB connection; Bluetooth works absolutely fine with mobile devices and headsets. You can purchase a Jabra Link 370 to get a Windows connection via Bluetooth but that's not cheap for what it does so I won't bother. This somewhat limits the convenience of connectivity and feels clumsy in an otherwise excellent product, so drops it to four stars, but overall, highly recommended.

just about the best thing for impromptu audio conferences ever, if you have a laptop or mobile phone you can now host teleconferences at the drop of a hat, the bluetooth works well, volume is good, it picks up voices from a fair distance, it has an inbuilt battery. only used it for a short period of time but these are getting very popular in work here, I'm now the third person I know with one, makes conference calls an absolute doddle, works really well with Lync.

I had been searching an external speaker/mic to use with Cisco IP Communicator. I purchased the Jabra Speak 510 as the result of reading some positive reviews. The unit is light and compact, while retaining a feeling of very good quality. The sounds quality of the microphone and speaker is very good and the touch sensitive controls work very well. The most important functionality for me was integration with Cisco communicator. The unit works out of the box, but by installing the additional software utility, this enables additional functions to enable control of various soft phones. The unit works equally well with Skype. The bluetooth functionality is also very useful, allowing me to use this to use to make & receive calls with my soft phone & mobile phone. Thoroughly recommended.

I bought this product for work as I have a lot online teleconference type meetings. As I travel a lot I need to be able to dial in from different locations and have suffered from lack of audio quality in the past even using a headset. I have now used the Jabra speak 510 in a number of meetings and the feedback from the meeting attendees that I am speaking with is the the sound quality is excellent and a drastic improvement over the headset or computer mic. From my end the sound quality was excellent and allowed colleagues to join and be clearly heard. It is easy to setup and mute/volume light indicators a really nice touch. Overall a really nice design. Definitely recommend this product.

Very good volume and very sensitive microphones but touch-sensitive power button is rather temperamental and unresponsive. When it's on it works well but occasionally switches itself off. Got this for my wife who has Parkinsonism and cannot hold her phone for more than a short time. Works very well allowing her to put her phone down during the conversation but she has difficulty turning it on if it switches itself off due to the touch button issue.

Servus, ich habe Freisprecheinrichtung bei Kollegen gesehen und war da bereits begeistert. Die Bedienung ist intuitiv und die Verbindung zum Laptop oder Handy funktionierte auf Anhieb. Die Gesprächsqualität ist sehr gut, d.h. laut und deutlich. Die Sensitiven Tasten sind gut bedienbar und funktionieren bisher einwandfrei. Die Akkulaufzeit ist absolut in Ordnung und reicht locker für mehrere Stunden. Nebengeräusche werden offenbar gefiltert und das ist wohl das einzige Manko. Frauenstimmen mit sehr hoher Stimmlage werden leider auch ab und an geschluckt. Etwas Abstand und nicht direkt in das Mikrofon sprechen bewirkt da wahre Wunder. Die Aufbewahrung in der kleinen Tasche ist praktisch. Durch sein geringes Gewicht kann ich das Teil überall mit hinnehmen. Der Fuß ist gepolstert, weshalb sich Schallwellen über die Tischplatte nicht einkoppeln. Gut gemacht, wie gesagt, ich bin mit dem Jabra Speaker sehr zufrieden.

Ottima qualità e facilità di connessione. Si connette sia via cavo usb integrato che tramite bluetooth. Viene rilevato facilmente da qualsiasi dispositivo. Si collega simultaneamente a 2 dispositivi tramite bluetooth. Passa automaticamente da un dispositivo all'altro senza doversi associare ogni volta. Si ricarica tramite usb integrato e la batteria dura davvero tanto. La qualità audio è elevata. I rumori di fondo vengono facilmente eliminati ed il volume in chiamata è davvero buono. Lo uso abitualmente in ufficio in sale riunioni, questo lo ho comprato per usarlo a casa, x eliminare cuffie, audio del PC e viva voce vari. Non so fare un confronto con apparecchi di fascia più bassa, ma non si ha davvero un motivo per rimpiangere la spesa. Aggiungo ovviamente la comodità di trasporto e la custodia davvero comoda. Ah...no... Ho detto una cavolata. Di una cosa mi sono pentito... Lo ho fatto provare a mia moglie che me lo ha rubato!

Recommendation from a neighbour who it seems has been using it for a few years. I have had it for 2 months- works like a charm. Took a few seconds to set it up. I have connected it via USB with my laptop (a Dell) and via blue tooth with my phone (an iPhone 11). Pros Excellent sound quality No delay- either side Both sides hear each other perfectly. Connects to 2 instruments at the same time: making it possible to have a call on either of the 2 devices at the same time. This is a Jabra feature which is just amazing. I have the Jabra Elite 65t and 75t and the top reason I bought them was 2 device connection. You can read my reviews for both on Amazon.ae Works with every time of call- phone call, Zoom, Teams, Skype- whatever it is type of call and device agnostic. Cons It disconnects from the bluetooth connected device (in this case my phone) after sometime. Don't know why. Haven't spent time investigating it. So it is irritating when that happens. If a call comes, then I have to make the person wait a few seconds, go to Settings/Bluetooth and select the device. When I connected both the devices via bluetooth- the laptop and the phone the laptop didn't work properly - mouse which is also bluetooth connected became erratic - must be some signal interference; and also the sound on the Jabra crackled. So defaulted it back to a USB connection. Am not sure if that was the Jabra malfunctioning or my laptop. Overall Highly recommended. Has made my calling experience much easier.
