Using this to link my Frame TV box to my soundbar which is on the opposite side of the room - at the moment this is run under the carpet under the skirting boards, eventually I will put it under the floor boards. Plenty of slack thanks to the super long length and feels solid and robust, I'm not scared of this breaking any time soon. Great to enjoy fantastic quality sound and easy connectivity with flexibility in set up!

Works really well, appears to be of high quality construction. Good value for money. Replaced a much costlier item that was to long for my current application.

This short 1m optical cable works for me. I only have a cheap soundbar so if there's any sound issues on high end soundbars with Dolby Atmos etc, I can't say. I will point out though it wasn't a simple matter of plug and play. I had to manually switch some settings on my TV. I had to switch sound output from TV to Optical and then I changed the digital output from auto to PCM in expert sound settings (Samsung TV). After that the soundbar worked as expected. Not noticing any drop outs so far. Connections seem tight enough. It's not a thick cable but it's not too thin either. For the price I've no complaints.

Nicely made cables, good connection and fit. Better than a lot of the cheaper cables supplied with soundbars etc. This was bought to connect CD player to amp, through digital/optical input. 0.5 m length means it doesn’t need to be curled up, nice short cable is earlier to manage. Sounds great and better than using RCA cables, if your set up can accommodate. Recommended if your looking at getting a quality cable.

Feels nice, has a certain degree of quality to it. Does what it says on the tin, works as advertised.

I rearranged my AV equipment, so no longer needed the long optical cable (Chord) between the TV and surround amplifier. It was just too long and too bulky to fit in the space. KabelDirekt on Amazon appeared as an option. The reviews were favourable, but they seemed surprisingly inexpensive. So I ordered a 1m cable as a replacement. I was prepared to be disappointed, but the reality was just the opposite. The physical quality and quality of construction were initially favourable, but it's the performance that matters. Firstly, the fit into the socket on the TV and the amplifier is very secure. Once in place it is not going to come out unless you choose to remove it. The sound transmission excellent. In this instance the sound received is either from Freeview via the roof aerial, or from WiFi via an Amazon fire stick. From both sources, the sound received at the amplifier for distribution through the speakers is beyond reproach. Am I satisfied with the product, yes, without reservation. Would I recommend this cable? Yes. Would I buy other KabelDirekt products? Yes, I already have.

Amazing cable! I can see why alot, even thousands of people give 5 or 4 star rating for this product. The minute I plug this beautiful design, good quality for the awesome price of this product was amazing and I was really impressed by the results. Nice, clean and clear audio sound and it helps the subwoofer pounds the base abit more which is a plus. Good job KabelDirekt there's potential here for this brand and I never heard of this brand before which is wild and trust me I've had tried different optical cables over the years from the past since the Playstation 3 era which is a long time. So my best advice or opinion for you people out there is don't go to cheap on cables especially if you have a brand new tv or high quality expensive tv get your self a good quality cables including Hdmi cables for better quality & performance for movies and gaming including if you people love listening to music. So far till this day my best brand is Monster & KabelDirekt when it comes to optical cables. If you take care of your product they will last a long time.

Solid well built cable with beautiful terminals. I had it for few weeks and it works perfectly with my TV sound-bar.
