**Q: When you press down, it goes to a specific depth regardless of which spring is loaded? I don't get it**
A: The springs are there so that you have consistency of your press, so you change the spring size based on how compacted you want your coffee. If you stick to a minimum grind of 18g you should get a good pour.

**Q: Where are the other two springs located?**
A: One is installed in the tamper and the other two come in a sealed little plastic bag inside the box. Once you unscrew the tamper you can change the required spring. Hope this helps.

**Q: Are you meant to push down all the way? Or when it stops around 1-2cm? When it’s not in the portaflter it goes all the way down**
A: Hi, you need to push it all the way, the spring is there to give you a consistent press. This allows you to get the correct grind of the beans.

**Q: Can we buy just the base to put on the existing normcore tamper?**
