WWII German Black Leather Walther PPK Holster Mauser Hsc Holster (Black)

I store a Walther PPK/S inside this holster. Was very very slightly stiff, but a day later the fit was perfect.

Covered in mold. Smells like mold. Too small for ppk/s. Pure junk.

Looks good but leather is thin and it came with a bad smell

For what it is, it’s a nice holster. This isn’t an exact reproduction of the PPK or HSC holster and is more of a scaled down version of the P38 holster. The holster is also more of a “universal” holster, you can tell it’s not made especially for the PPK, but is meant to be for the PPK and HSC as listed. Right out of the packaging, the holster is pretty stiff and needs to be worked to make it nice and soft. For modern day PPKs with the longer beaver tail, it is not a perfect fit and sticks up just a little bit past the top, but the cover still closes and doesn’t need to be forced shut. There are no factory stamps on the holster like pictured, but that doesn’t bother me, I actually prefer that it doesn’t have any factory stamps since it’s a reproduction anyways. One final thing to note is a small complaint. This is a brand new product and right out of the packaging, the holster had scuffs and scratches. It’s not a big deal since it will probably get banged up over time with use anyways, but it’s not what I would expect for a brand new product.

Holster needs to be looser towards tip where barrel rests hard to slip gun in too tight

The traditional "put firearm into a thick plastic bag" method works well and only takes 48 hours to work.

I bought one and it came covered in mold, so I returned it and bought a second which came... also covered in mold. Will not be buying a 3rd.
