The Trixie scratching board is a firm favourite in our house. Sylvie, our giant half Bengal half Persian (I know, we were bewildered, too) has used this daily since we bought it a couple of months ago. The cardboard serrations seem to be the perfect width for kitty to scratch deep without harming her claws. The cardboard 'bits' that break away adhere well to the board, so you don't constantly have a trail of it around the house; we tap them out and hoover up when doing the rest of the house. As mentioned, we've had this a good few weeks now and it's still in daily use, you can see it's been well loved but there's plenty left, I could easily see us only needing two, maybe three a year. It's also a good width for even a large cat to lay on (if, like our furry feline leader your cat likes to lay anywhere that's not the bed you loving chose and purchased for them). Can't recommend it enough, we've tried many over the years but always go back to this one as it's a complete bargain.

Nellie loves it, especially with the added cat nip on it. It’s very lightweight but good for cats to scratch on. She even likes sleeping on it too. Only negative is there are holes all the way through it so catnip seeps through to the floor. Hopefully she’ll continue to use it without catnip on it.

as my cats are picky they absolutely love this going to buy a second one as they both love it, yeah the scratching them might not last long but would still be great if nails are cut im just so surprised how great this product was

What a great product, I hardly got it out the package before my cat attack it. She uses it constantly and is now her go to scratching area. Brilliant, and the bag of cat nip you get with it is a great addition.

Was disappointed on the size of this and must admit my cat is not that interested in it.
