The included attachment hardware was not a practical solution for my installation but they look like good quality hardware, although look too short as well. I mounted it to an aluminum plate about 18” x 8” and the balance is good. I have a t-slot rail in the back of my truck which has two 9mm QR fork mounts for the road bikes, a 15x100 Thru Axle for her MTB, a 20x110 for my (old) mountain bike and a 12x100 for a gravel bike. I bought this to get a second 12x100 for the second gravel bike.It's nicely made, the adapters are all labeled, and the included t-nuts and bolts made it a breeze to install.Then I went for a ride with a friend with a 15x110 (Boost) MTB. I was able to clamp her bike in this using the correct spacers. And a light bulb went off.I'm getting a second one of these, and I can get rid of (almost) all the others. It will handle the 9mm QR road bikes, the 12x100 gravel bikes, and 15x100 and 15x110 mountian bikes.
