We bought this to try and repel spiders and moths from coming into my daughter's room (she's very phobic). We wanted to use something natural so opted for citronella. The product is great, but the scent is very strong so use very sparingly. We're keeping this one outdoors as the scent is too strong for us. Fingers crossed it works to repel the little bugs.

Great scent, long lasting. Bought with a diffuser to combat fly infestation and mosquitoes. Although we've still had some flies enter the house, they have acted really erratic like they don't want to be there, and left quickly.I hate the label on the bottle though. I've had a few other essential oils with similar type, it's for a weird, sticky and rough feeling to it. Makes me feel weird to hold it. I put sellotape over it so I don't have to feel it.

I use this product in an incense burner to ward off mosquitoes when I go on holiday. Much better than chemicals such as deet.

I was wanting to make candles for the garden after buying cheepies and couldn't believe how nice this smelt in comparison, it smells so fresh and not chemically, an added bonus was when our neighbours disturbed a wasp nest and we were swarmed by hundreds so I made up a mixture of lavender, peppermint, citronella and washing liquid squiterd it all round my garden and the wasps were gone in seconds and my garden smelt amazing for hours, will definitely be trying more oils from this company

I actually got this as I was having a horrific issue with flies around my food bin in the hotter months. Few drops of this around the lid and problem solved. Not my favourite smell but certainly better than the contents of the bin. Good size bottle, still got plenty left. Would say good value for money as well.

I bought this to use in a cheap diffuser to get rid of flies and midges and it worked great! Pleasant smell but I guess that’s subjective! Would be great to use when camping or on holiday etc. Flies and insects seem to absolutely hate the stuff and will give you a wide berth.

Thought this would be good value for money, as I have been using a lot of Citronella just lately. However, was disappointed that I could hardly smell the scent in my diffuser, so I have gone back to buying my previous brand of Citronella - more expensive, but smells a great deal stronger.

This was bought as an insect repellent to use in a diffuser! We started with just 3 drops in water and it was far too powerful for us to even sit in the same room! (No bugs though) 1 drop goes a long way as we learnt although it is strong still! It's best to leave in an unoccupied room for a while and then the smell will have faded a little! Does the trick in putting an end to flies and moths in the house! We have mixed with lavender essential oil and does make it more tolerable!
