I purchased the BraceAbility Anti-Spasticity Splint for myself, having post-stroke spasticity in right hand. After about a month of use, here’s my honest feedback: ✅ Pros: Well-designed for spastic hands — the hand stays in a neutral position, which helps reduce tightness and involuntary clenching. Soft padding inside makes it comfortable for extended wear, even overnight. Rigid support offers real therapeutic benefit — it holds the wrist, palm, and fingers in place without being overly bulky. Adjustable straps are easy to use and allow a secure, custom fit. Durable materials — it's held up well through daily use and light cleaning. ❌ Cons: Can get warm after several hours of wear — especially in warmer weather. Sizing runs a bit large — check measurements carefully before ordering. Would love to see a left/right hand specific version for an even better anatomical fit.

Awesome item, my uncle in Mexico had a stroke so I sent him this to help keep his hand straight and keep it from being bent all day. He loves it, best of all he says it helps keep his fingers straight and does not hurt at all.

This was purchased for my husband who is experiencing dystonia in both hands. I bought two different items, one for the right hand and one for the left, to allow him to experience both and determine preference. This BraceAbility was purchased for his right hand. He appreciates the comfort of resting his fingers across the ball adding comfort and supporting natural curl. Because of the degree of contracture of his fingers, it can be difficult to get positioned well and strap all fingers. We have found that using the velcro for the stiffest fingers is all the support required, limiting the time of placement. He is comfortable wearing the brace for several hours at a time.

Did return this item, but not because there were issues. My son preferred a different device. No issues with this devise; it was comfortable, good quality, and easy to use.

Says good for either hand but didn’t work for my left affected hand and just didn’t work as expected

I found it very uncomfortable for me since i can't open my hand. For someone else it might be perfect!

Comfortable, works well. Great for stroke patients. With help to put it on, easy to use. Wrist support. Quality.

Highly recommend this if you know someone whose fingers are curling, This will gently give the hand's form back with time.
