As a door would be unlikely to require anything like the maximum extension for the pole it would be even stronger as it would be reinforced by much of one pole being slid into the other to shorten it to length. Have bought multiple over the years without issue ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Scratches but who's looking that closely? *by C***A on 4 May 2025* This rod is good in that it is sturdy and it looks nice but the problem, at least with the silver one, is that the coating really does wear off. I don't know notice it in use but when I take curtains down to wash them and I look closely at the pole it's full of scratches where the silver coating has scratched off either from the screws that hold the rod in place or possibly even the eyelets of the curtain.
