Over a long distance digital signals diminish. Graphics begin to artefact. I purchased this HDMI because it is a decent brand but mainly because it is an active HDMI. This means it has technology to ensure the power of the signal is maintained from source to input. I run the cable from pc to tv. As the crow flies it's about 6 metres. Cable management wise it's 10. The cable is excellent and allows me to maintain 4k at 60hz. I did try an optical HDMI. The pc could see the TV but there was no image being displayed. Rather than ask for a replacement, I returned it and I opted to for this reliable copper active HDMI cable. I saw the cable as good value for money/quality before heading into the realm of stupidity prices.

Ik heb inmiddels enkele kabels van dit merk gekocht. Ze zijn zeker niet de dunste. Maar ze voelen zeer solide aan, hebben een nette prijs kwaliteit verhouding (zelfs eerder richting lage prijs segment) en kunnen hogere resoluties (in dit geval zelfs 8K) ook prima aan. Deze 1M kabel is perfect tussen een KVM en een scherm.
