Review: Great easy to clean scissors - I bought these because they come apart and are easy to clean. I can use them to cut meat knowing I'll be able to easily separate the two blades for proper cleaning. There sharp, well made and work great.

**Q: Are these really 10” long?**
A: Mine measure 220mm or 8.5” long from tip of the blade to the end of the handles.

**Q: What are the handles made from, can the scissors go in the dishwasher**
A: The handles appear to be a really tough plastic possibly moulded onto the metal shape so very strong but comfortable to use . We have four pairs in total because I put them in the dishwasher after each use! Though not stated as dishwasher safe , mine have been dishwashered for 3 or 4 years!!

Super sharp good grip OXO kitchen scissors, decent weight, versatile, will handle most / all of kitchen chores. They fit the hand comfortably, so easy to use. They open wide to allow you to separate the blades for cleaning which is handy. No need for a blade cover as these scissors click together and stay closed until needed. Rust resistant stainless steel and a good quality, what you would expect from the OXO brand. Recommended
