Efficient, powerful bit of kit
Just used on a trip to Scottish lochs. Quiet powerful and super effective way to move a 'rowing boat' with two people and gear even in pretty stiff wind around the loch. Coupled to 150Ah battery...worked like a dream. Good purchase.

Sturdy and powerful motor.
Great motor. Does all the things I wanted it for - propelling a Heyland work boat across a freshwater lake. Battery indicator is a bonus. Oddly it arrived without props which was sorted after a phone call. Be aware the 68 model doesn't come with the battery clips shown in the photo. Connectors designed for 50+ amps needed.

Great Motor!
Best one of these I've ever had! Used for filming off a small inflatable (3.3m) because it's silent. First 4 forward speeds are pretty slow and close together in speed/ratio before a big jump to lightspeed in 5th or TURBO! as my 3 year old calls it! Reverse speeds (3) are better in range and faster than expected but not as fast as 5th forward speed understandably. Feels quality and power readout (LED) on top is very handy. Came with 2 props which was a nice touch and dead simple to fit. Looks and feels quality. Came well packaged and was dispatched promptly with great communications and response to messages from seller. Highly recommended and will post review again if anything else relevant/of note!

Powerful and efficient
Arrived really quickly, next day essentially! Seems a solid unit. Easy to assemble and had it going in no time. Not much in the speed settings 1-3, 4 and 5 where you really feel the difference; 5 especially so could feel the bend of the boat at the back end using 5 (exclusion 4). Used it on speeds 2-3 generally for 2 hours on the local river, upon return and testing the battery that had used less than 20% of a 100ah leisure battery so impressed with that. Chopped up a few weeds, got it caught on a large sunken branch, and even hit the bottom at one point. Prop took it like a champ and not a mark on it Very happy with purchase so far. Oversized for the excursion, but awaiting delivery of the Mariner 4 reason i went this size. Rather have more power than needed though and tick it over on low speed

Brilliant for the tender
I wasn't expecting this motor to be such a good outboard for my tender. It doesn't have the power of a petrol outboard, but it drives along at 3 - 4 mph quite happily and in near silence. Less than £300 for motor and 90Ah battery. It's heavier and longer than I imagined, but that's a small price to pay for peaceful and reliable dinghy travel.

A bit of a beast
Just come back from using the Bison 68ft electric outboard and can say that I'm very impressed. It's a very sturdy outboard and packs a good punch on an 8ft dinghy going up the estuary, against the tide. We ran it at full speed on an 85ah leisure battery and it didn't last all that long - maybe an hour max - but that's enough to get us to the boat and back. Love the battery clips and the spare propeller too. Highly recommended.

Pretty flimsy plastics and runs OK out of the water
Hmmm, time will tell. Pretty flimsy plastics and runs OK out of the water . . . We'll see after a season of use.
