A: If you could trim your wick to 3mm before each burn, it will be better normally. Hopeful it helps.

**Q: Ordered clean cotton and has been lit for an hour but still no fragrance, is this usual when first using large Yankee candle?**
A: Same problem with mine : no scent  ! Ok - check the lid of your candle : it should have Yankee candle written in the glass : mine doesn’t , so I think I’ve been sold a fake ? I’ve still got to contact amazon - haven’t got around to it yet . Not 100% certain on my diagnosis but weird that the other 3 Yankee candles I have at home all have “Yankee candle “ embossed in the glass whereas this fresh cotton that smells of nothing has a smooth lid - no text ....
