Probably will but would not buy again as it was very badly made the handle snapped after a few wks would not recommend it

my chip pan is max 19.5cm across top,(internal measurment) so basket needs to be smaller than the 20cm can you measure and tell me exact cms.

The basket is 19cm accross the top, that's it's widest point, it is a tiny bit smaller going down and 12cm deep. Hope that helps?
