Super cute beginner or kids crochet kit. I thought this was a very fun kit. I got this for my 10 year old daughter as a Christmas present and she loved it. It was easy enough for her to understand and use. I really like creative little activities like this, and it was $10 when I purchased, which I thought was a fair price.

This project is adorable and the description is accurate but this is not for beginners. The yarn is very thin. Got this for my 10 yr old and had to get yarn from a craft store that his hand can work with.

I “adopted” a 10 yr old to buy Christmas gifts for. She loves the crocheted animals. Since she also loves any kind of arts and crafts, this set was perfect and the price allowed me to buy her more things.

Intermediate at best!! Yarn is difficult to work with and hooks are very small. Had a lot of difficulty and instructions did not read very well. Yarn is rough and stringy. Decent value if you have intermediate experience, comes with all supplies.

I agree with the others that the yarn and needle are high-quality, but the instructions are absolutely ridiculous. I am a pretty good Crochere and crew can crochet several different stitches, but this was absolutely impossible to follow. I’ve had to try to find all kinds of other, YouTube videos and it’s still really difficult to decipher. What the heck they’re talking about. I’m partway through the borough body, will just have to see how it turns out, if it turns out, it’s more because I’m an experienced crocheter that it is because their instructions are worth anything at all. They need to work a lot harder on getting videos that are slower and more in depth. I am making a lot of educated guesses, along with information from other sources.

These are a little hard to understand for me as a beginner but should be very simple for people who know how crochet

I’m not a beginner and I would absolutely not call this beginner friendly. The yarn frays like crazy. Any kind of frogging or tension afterwards you risk the yarn ripping/breaking. I broke my first pull on the magic circle and had to start over. On my third round to find that my yarn was ripped and tied back together. Gonna have to cut and work the yarn back into the round which is very frustrating and again not beginner friendly. I did appreciate the smaller double hook provided because a 2.5mm was took big for this yarn. (Only reason I’m not giving one star) Working with a smaller gauge is definitely something to get used to as well. As all my other projects like this used 4mm hook. Still gonna finish the project and will update later but as of right now not a great experience and I am not very far.

My granddaughter taught herself how to crochet. She loves to do the kits. She said the kit was great and fun to do
