My double glazing is quite old now and the hinges have started to seize. I tried lubricating the old ones but it didn't work that well, so I bought these hinges and have replaced them on 2 windows. The difference is amazing. The windows now open fully and the price is very good. I researched how to do it on Youtube and found that it is very straightforward to do. It helps to have another person just to support the window while you put the first few screws in. It seems that windows hinge sizes are standard but the fitting holes are not. Luckily the new hinge top mount holes matched exactly with the previous hinges, so I just made new holes for the 2 remaining fixtures on each hinge and everything then matched up perfectly.
