These are now the only toothbrushes that I use.Having read some of the previous reviews about these I have to say that I'm gobsmacked with some people!A lot of the reports are about how long the batteries last. Every one that I have used the batteries have lasted for as long as the toothbrush is usable.Every toothbrush should only be used for approximately three months (depending upon how many times you use the thing).Having looked at the pictures posted by some people I despair at their oral hygiene! It seems that they are the sort that will continually use a brush for 12 months and more, to get their moneys worth.The batteries in mine have always lasted about 3 month, after which I am supposed to replace the old toothbrush for a new one.So people have reported that you cannot replace the batteries on these. Well, I have to agree, they are not designed for you to replace the battery rather to replace the whole toothbrush to aid good oral hygiene. Fortunately? I do know how to replace the battery, which I do once only before I then replace the complete brush to maintain good hygiene.The brushes are well designed, comfortable to use do a pretty good job.I bought these from Amazon because they were a great price as compared to buying from my local supermarket, and I got them delivered.I definitely will continue to buy and use these, and I will continue to replace the battery (which does run out before the useful life of the brush, in my opinion).I would suggest that you read all of the positive reviews and ignore the negatives.100% 5* review from me.

Really great toothbrush, should of bought a few more.

I have been using Oral-B Pulsar for the past 5 years. I never had any problems and I find the vibrations and bristles very effective in terms of cleaning. I cannot get the same feeling of cleanliness with any other toothbrush. I am glad it is on such low price on Amazon.Nevertheless I have a a couple of reservations for Oral-B Pulsar toothbrushes. Sometimes I feel they are not very gentle on the gums, they are not harsh or anything but there are much gentler alternatives if you are concerned about your gum health.I also do not like the fact that I cannot replace the battery, I am not sure why they do not use rechargeable batteries either. It is very environmentally unsustainable.I am concerned about how people dispose of the batteries as well. Most people tend to just throw their old toothbrushes in the bin but certainly you must not do that with this product as it contains a battery in it.If you accidentally, or deliberately twist the bottom bit, the battery will disconnect and will not work again, so be careful not to do that. You should only do it when you want to take the battery out when it is dead.

Does what it is meant to, well and at a reasonable price.... What's not to like?

Oral-B Pulsar Pro-Expert Manual Toothbrush Enhanced With Battery PowerThis has been by go out manual toothbrush for many years now. I normally use a electric toothbrush but times when i am travelling or have not charged the electric one I use this. I have a number of times kept using this for weeks as it does a great job.It comes with a built in battery which last longer than the toothbrush itself.The battery part which is enabled by a button the the handle causes the bristles and a number of plastic parts to move side to side helping clean the teeth but also in between teeth which is the part that is most useful.Would highly recommend.
